New to the area, and still trying things out. Came out for date night. Great place to bring the kids. I ordered a red sangria and bacon cheddar fries to start. Sangria was good and the fries were OK. I prefer melted, goopy cheese and it was like they may have set for a minute. Hubby ordered the chicken salad salad and was very happy with it. I ordered their taco salad. Not a traditional taco salad, greens, chili with beans, cheese, and tomatoes, with salsa and taziki sauce on the side. Looked like a flour tortilla, which because of gluten intolerance I didn't eat, but the rest of the salad was good. We ordered food to go, a club for my husband and a cauliflower crust pizza. Our orders came out quick and our server was responsive.
Stopped by to get a take out Greek salad. Haven't been here in years as my home is 25 miles away and it's not convenient. Full salad cost $11. The menu described the ingredients but when I got home, both tomatoes and onions were not in the salad. The menu shows them as ingredients. Too far to go back and try to fix .
First time here. Won't go again. Our first clue should have been when we stood, waiting for the hostess to come and seat us. Hubby ordered a turkey melt...should have been called a "turkey burn". Bacon burnt, bread burnt, turkey dry. He said it was literally the worse sandwich he has ever ordered. I got the chicken salad sandwich. The chicken salad itself was okay, but it was a very small sandwich, not worth $11.00. The fries were like McDonald's. Nothing special. Server was nice. All in all, a no go for us.
Food came out over done the waiter was great but over all quality was not what it used to be
A little outta the way from the interstate but stopped by on the way home and best choice we've made in a long time. Excellent service walking in and excellent service leaving! Very friendly!!
Also best burger I've had from a restaurant in I don't know how long
We love the Wooden Nickel. Great service, great food, great people. I had the gyro and it was portioned right. Maybe a little too many fries, but I don't like wasting food. Always a good choice for a bite and a cold drink.
First time visit and the staff made me feel like I was a regular. And their nachos are incredible!
Food was great. Arcade games at back were fun. Bring cash for those! My husband got the Reuben and I got their burger add bacon. The burger was delicious! Atmosphere was chill and inviting. We will def be back!
