Best WLM Reviews
Made my first trip here for a small party. It is a nice space featuring an outdoor patio, bar and seating areas. They have roll up doors as well as a Bands on the Patio (entertainment). The pizza was delicious and they had a nice selection of craft beers and cocktails. Certainly a worthy stop.
UPDATE: Return trip was great. Same quality food, service and selection. The cheese and pepperoni pizza had cup and char pepperoni that was charred to perfection. The buffalo chicken pizza was tasty as well!
My mother ordered the NY strip steak. It was gristley, tough, and hard to cut. They put it directly on the mashed potatoes and she didn't get the gravy she asked for. Because it was on the potatoes, all the grease from the steak was on the potatoes (see pic).
The fried greenbeans are quite good. You don't really taste the greenbeans, just the breading/batter. The aioli is also good but very oily.
The portobello quesadilla with peppers and onions is my favorite in Buffalo. Sadly, the last time I got it it was way too greasy. I couldn't finish it. My mom likes the french dip. The Cuban sandwich was just ok and chicken sandwich had too much seasoning.
Outdoors is nice and they have an area to play cornhole. Inside is a bit cold in the decor and temperature. Even the waitress indoors complained about it being too cold for her.
We have had good experiences with the waitstaff, however, we don't understand why the waiters don't bring out the food. Another guy did for all the tables. Also, we didn't like that the "suggested" tips START at 20%.
The beer is all solid. Very enjoyable and well executed. The food and service is good. However, it is absolutely infested with fruit flies. They’re everywhere, including my beer. They flew around us the entire time. Kills the vibe. I have been in over 100 breweries across the US and Canada and not dealt with a swarm like this so I know it’s not a brewery thing.
Very comfortable brewery, with awesome wood fired Pizzas! We ordered the beef on weck Yes pizza, and it was to die for! Good variety on the menu, lots of seating. Lots of good beers on top. We really enjoyed our time here, excellent service at the bar.
This place was busy on a Saturday at lunch which we were surprised by, but once you sit down you realize why. The service was great, our server Carson (?) was perfectly friendly / attentive and just an all round nice person. Bar service can be so hit and miss, so this was a nice surprise to feel so welcome. The beer is of a great quality. We both had the Porter and it worked well on a very cold day with our fries and pretzels. A great place to warm
up in, have some good quality food/beer and enjoy the weekend. Definitely will be back.
Delicious food and drinks. Everything seemed clean and the employees were nice. The homemade dressings were delicious and made the meals.
First time here, I would definitely come back. The fish fry I'd HUGE!! We also tried the wood fire pizza, very good. The staff was very attentive and friendly.
Went with friends on Friday night, prime dinner time, our waitress was somewhat lackluster/forgetful but maybe was having a rough night. I wish I ordered a burger- the steak sub wasn't cut up, so difficult to eat, pretty plain. Friends enjoyed their pizza and quesadillas. Tiny tall table does not comfortably seat four, with food, drinks etc it's too crowded. Seating sacrificed function for trendy.
I'd still go back to try more food and more beer. I did enjoy my redhead beer, once it came out. Cocktails are ok.
