Best WLM Reviews

The pate is a must have, and the fried chicken is amazing. I wish their menu rotated a little more. 80% of the menu items has been there for 4 years, but new items like this rainbow trout are creative and interesting. Whiskey list is absolutely extensive and almost every bourbon you can think of.
Very good size dishes for brunch! We got the pork belly Benedict which was cooked very well. The pork belly was soft and well seasoned.
The breakfast taco had a lot of scrambled eggs. Good portions! I’d just put more chorizo
I came here for dinner with my grandparents on my birthday and we were told when we were seated that our table was reserved and we could only sit there for about an hour before we would need to move. So we decided to eat really fast, and the food was great but I hated feeling so rushed. The space is a bit cramped so I understand the need to reserve tables but there should be some made available to people who walk in as well (besides the bar seating—which wouldn’t be comfortable for my grandparents to sit in). I ordered the pear and arugula salad which was absolutely delicious, but the smaller size was far too small! It was more of a side salad, and needed more lettuce and dressing. The ingredients were fresh though, and the flavor combo was divine! I was still hungry when I finished my meal but obviously it was too late to order more food and we had to leave the table, so I never got a full meal and was disappointed by that! I wish my waiter had been a little more helpful with the menu and told me it was a side salad, not a small salad. I would have ordered more food or gotten the dinner size salad if I had known. My grandparents liked the Gouda Mac with brisket though! Overall for the price, I’ll probably only come back if they have a happy hour. It’s too expensive for them to be having such small serving sizes.
The food was appropriatley portioned to make you feel not so full and never leaving you too hungry. I had the WoodBlock House Smoked Pork Belly which was a slim piece cut in half. Me, coming from common eatings in mt culture am used to having wide and thick slices of juicy yet crispy pork belly. But nonetheless the food was good!
Great service with decent food. The poached eggs were overcooked and not gooey on the inside. The drinks were delicious
We ordered the brisket gnocchi and the fried chicken. Gnocchi was tasty but the brisket was over cooked and hard to chew. Flavor was very good. The fried chicken was tasty (hints of honey that made you want to keep eating), but it was a lot of chicken…. When it said it came with a side of pasta salad with expected more than a quarter cup. The bananas foster bread pudding was the highlight of the meal for me.
Recommend to try once (great for out of towners), would really like to go back for their brunch which looks amazing.
Service and ambiance was very good :)
Update*** went back for brunch….very good and recommend! Biscuits and gravy were delicious! Note~we had it split onto two plates
Went on sunday afternoon and had a good experience.
The brisket gnocchi were really yummy, and the soup was fresh as well.
Prices are good for a jice ambiance and portions.
The service was great as well.
Very casual spot to come by and have a beer with cozy food
We had a team dinner here and it was delicious. The burger was fantastic and the drinks (specially the smoked whiskey, over the cookie jar) were amazing. Also had the carrot cake and it was on point. Highly recommended.
