Best WLM Reviews
It was our first dining experience here, and it lived up to the online reviews. Service was fast and attentive......thanks Char! Tried several seasonal cocktails, and they all were enjoyable. The food was flavorful. The stuffed eggplant stood out by itself. The coppa steak could have been plated with a starch and the savory crab pie with some greens. The choices for table sides were limited. Definitely will be back!
I absolutely loved it for brunch! This is our new favorite date spot! We brought our family back a second time a few weeks later, and he menu and decor had changed to fall-inspired! Definitely make a reservation. It's street parking, but there's no issue for weekend breakfast/lunch.
Fantastic service and food. The tables in the center of the restaurant are fine, but a little too close together for my taste. The drinks were fantastic and fresh. The steak was incredibly flavorful and it was cooked perfectly ????. I actually got a second steak because it was so good! The overall experience was fantastic.
Very interesting experience. All the food was uniquely prepared and good quality. Lamb tenderloin was exceptional, have not had better. We also had rainbow trout, oyster pie, clams & grits, all were very good. Roasted oysters and asparagus salad were very nice appetizers. The Alaskan bake and chocolate Basque cheesecake were very nice way to end dinner. The service was very friendly and attentive.
Very unique restaurant! Beautiful architecture and ambience, felt like I was at home! The food was delicious and drinks were strong but tasty! Highly recommend if you want somewhere cozy to dine!
Haazam and the staff at Woodberry Kitchen outdid themselves for a wedding I attended at their venue. If you're looking to impress your guests with some of the best food I've had a wedding make this a top pick for your special date. 10 out of 10 Superb!
This was our first visit back to Woodbury in over five years… And a lot has changed and some things have stayed the same. Still great form the table cuisine very interesting and eclectic menu from the wasabi bites, which is basically a scrapple on sushi, to an amazing, fried eggplant salad, to more delicious entrées than can be mentioned. Service continues to be spot on and professional. But… Here are some changes since we’ve been there post Covid. They took their foot off the pedal for being a restaurant and restaurant now a gathering place where they hold weddings. Which means the really lovely post industrial loft look that space is now for weddings. All the other dinners are now served in the tavern, which is rustic, and always felt like an afterthought when we would go to the restaurant and was seated there as though it was their spare room. Also, service was incredibly slow… Not the service they were there, but food coming out of the kitchen. I can only surmise this is because they are now doing weddings and when you have 125 people in one room and literally no more than 30 in the other room, I’m thinking the wedding gets your kitchens, main attention so a wedding delivery snafu there trickle down to the restaurant patrons. Which was us. This is the only reason I could not give it a five. Shame on me because I should’ve known or looked up that they were now only serving in their formerly “spare room.”
It is still absolutely a restaurant worth visiting and supporting. Just know if you were there on a Friday Saturday or Sunday, your meal may be competing with the wedding.
My 1st time did not disappoint ????. Had oyster mushrooms as appetizer, excellent. The pan fried trout crusted with pecans was superb!! Bread is made fresh daily in their kitchen...divine. Serene atmosphere with live soft guitar music. Only complaint is parking shortage, but I was there early, which helped. Highly recommend.
