Best WLM Reviews

For that price the experience should have been better. I pay $45.00 at Austin’s Steakhouse Buffet in Knoxville and their food is way better than here. What you think because your in Pigeon Forge, Tn tourist capital in East Tennessee that you can charge this for that kind of steak. That is what we call blue steak if I wanted to still mooo I would have eaten right in the pasture. As to the restaurant it self it is very clean for being busy on a Friday night in November. The bathrooms are filthy like some blew chunks out of both ends. The staff on the floor are quick as to clearing tables. But not as quick refilling certain food items. They rather socialize if anything. The cold salads are good as well as the deserts. No shrimp, chicken or pulled pork as the spaces were empty. The Italian is basic nothing really authentic same as the Asian and Mexican section of the buffet it is more American style if anything.
I can’t even give this place a Sears Tower for a rating. Maybe that is why this is my second time being here. Austin’s I’ll be back for my 30th visit.
This place is a hot mess. Bad lighting and quantity of food seem to be their answer to hiding the quality food - or lack there of. This buffet stretched across 3 rooms. There was plenty to choose from. But all of it seemed too long on the buffet line and greasy or dry and tasteless. Many of the buffet items were mislabeled. The waitress was nice, but seemed stretch thin.
This place was pretty expensive and the quality of food was really bad.
Adult dinner plus drink was almost $30 per person.
There are so many better places to go in the area for less expensive cost. Don't choose it. Just don't.
Loved it! First time coming here all the way from Buffalo NY! For my wife and I to eat at a buffet under $40 which included drinks for lunch time was excellent. So a huge selection of food! Highly recommend going here.
Where do I start? Oh boy.... what a hot mess this place is/was. The only reason service got a 3 ☆ was because our waitress was super nice and on point when it came to clearing plates and filling our drinks, which never went empty. Out of this whole buffet my husband only ate 3 hard shell tacos with meat and cheese, and 1 slice of ham. All of which, were the only things that looked remotely appetizing to him. I love the fact that they have a kids corner set up with burgers and hotdogs, wish those were available for adults as well.
I really enjoyed all the cold items, that came out of a can, like the peaches, cottage cheese, macaroni salad, potato salad, coleslaw and fruit. Surprised there wasn't a pizza option on the Italian station, that had noodles sumerged in water, bland sauces and squishy spaghetti bake.
Of all the proteins, the item that most people hate, is the item that tasted the best. Which is the chicken liver. The fish items were rubbery or drowing in liquid oil or butter. The roast beef was dry, the steak tips/strips tasted like they have been cooked, re-cooked and re-heated to be tough as nails. Tons of items were mopped, drenched or marinated in heavy sauces for asian and barbecue. The rolls were burnt and tons of options for desserts.
All the employees, from the order taker in the front, the employees in the gift shop, all serving employees just looked like they were over it already. They had no energy, no life. Two servers and the hostess lady seating us, looked alive and wished us a wonderful rest of the day. We didn't even see a manager anywhere the whole 40 min that we were there. Very unorganized, and chaotic. We've had better, we've had worst.
One plate per trip and Don't let that Buy One Adult Buffet with Drink Get One Adult Buffet with Drink Free coupon get ya! RUNNNNN!!!!!
This is a gun free zone as well.
Overall, I think I'd try to find a different place to eat. The smell of the meat was very enticing and the food was alright, but I think there's better to be found elsewhere for a much more reasonable price. If it were in another location, I'd give it a higher rating.
So this is a place where you will eat food. Everything else is a fever dream. You pay when you walk in. You have to walk past a gift shop into the main buffet room. Where a waiter/waitress will be randomly assigned to you and guide you to a table or booth. Then you'll have to go to another room to get your plates and pick from their many options. Idk if it is always this way but the fish and the "spaghetti" both were in this yellow pool of oil. The sweet chili wings were delicious as was the broccoli casserole. Choose carefully and you'll have a decent time but it's an experience with decent buffet fare.
I've been to PF several times and always wanted to try this place because there are always so many people coming out. I thought, it must be really good. I was sorely mistaken! I paid over $120 for 4 people which is absurd for a buffet. The interior and decor is outdated and very basic. The buffet has different categories including American, Mexican, Italian, Asian, etc. The selections are written on the sneeze guard. I was impressed by everything they offered until I actually went to the buffet. What I thought was stuffing was actually broccoli casserole -- up close it looked like pureed baby food. The mac and cheese looked ok but tasted like it had come out of can, the spaghetti did as well. The chicken wings were the smallest things I'd ever seen. Over all the food was inedible in my opinion. The price for what was offered was ridiculous. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! We would have been better off going to Golden Corral down the street.
This is a Great Location. It is Historical and Family owned. The people are Fabulous. You are greeted with a Beautiful Smile. Our Server, Craig was Very knowledgeable and attentive. The variety on the menu is very wide. The food is fresh and Delicious. The Restrooms are clean. The decor and Souvenirs are a lot of Fun. Thank You for taking Your time to read My Review!???? Have a Great Day!????
