I've been here multiple times and I just love it more and more each time. The food is absolutely fantastic. Have gotten the full set special at least 3 times. It's such a great value and variety. This last time I got the Korean BBQ for 2 (prepared for me, not to grill myself) ,Dduk Mandu Guk soup and veggie tempura. We had so much leftovers and I can't wait to eat it all again tomorrow. Just always blown away. You will not regret visiting Korea House!
The kids and I decided on Korean food for dinner. To make sure we had a table that has grills, we made a reservation to secure a spot; this is due to only having 4 tables to bbq on. The rest are just dine in tables. The food was amazing. We ordered bulgogi and spicy pork bulgogi. When you get your main dish, you get side dishes as well. The dishes are all marinated in their own way to enhance the flavor of the side dish. Some of the side dishes are rice, cucumbers, bean sprouts, fish cakes, bean paste, garlic, and kimchi. The whole event took about an hour from placing order to paying for our check at the end. We will be back in the near future. Also, I can’t forget the staff, they were all extremely friendly and always saw a smile on their face.
I highly recommend this place. I go here every year for my birthday and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing and there’s even a coat rack at the entrance. The staff are kind and professional. There are bathrooms but I’ve never used them so I cant speak on their cleanliness. I would
recommend calling beforehand to set up a reservation just to be safe since it gets busy during dinner.

???? The place is very casual, hole in the wall feel, family run, don’t expect a fancy place. Tip: Don’t wear anything fancy here that you don’t want to smell like bbq later ????

???? It was only the husband and wife running the whole place but service wasn’t terribly long.
???? Food is definitely 5/5 for Buffalo New York. We came from Houston so we were very impressed with the quality of food here. Very on par with some of the most authentic Korean food we’ve had.
???? Overall, it was a great meal. We thoroughly enjoyed all our dishes. Barley tea was a nice compliment. If you’re in Buffalo and craving some Korean Food. I would highly recommend trying out Korea House. You will love it ????
My wife and I are huge food buffs. We were always talking about how Buffalo (area) should have more diversity when it comes to taste and experiences. This summer we were able to check out plenty of new restaurants in pursuit of our mission. Woo Chon is somewhere atop of our list. Korean BBQ is a great way to share and spend time with family and friends. The staff were really attentive and the food was to die for. We ordered the combo for 2, bone broth soup, and chicken fried rice. The combo came with 4 different meats and were the perfect amount for me and my wife(and I usually eat a lot!). The soup came sizzling and had a punch to it! Extremely homey and comforting that would taste better in the colder months. This will become our go-to when family and friends are visiting. Do yourself a favor and check out this gem of a restaurant.
I will start my comment by saying I do assume my experience was an outlier considering it was a Friday night and I was only able to see 2 employees running the entire business within the half hour I was there.
However, I came in at 6:00, was seated and was never helped there on after. My brother and I had been so excited to have some good Korean food in Buffalo but after having been sat at a table for 30 minutes without so much as a greeting or water on the table whilst the staff refused to even look at us while we sat, we just decided to leave.
My review is with the advice for the owner to please schedule more staff for busy dayparts and to discuss with the employees that at the very least, greeting your guest is a basic customer service procedure and that letting staff operate while actively turning their heads away from guests is not only unprofessional but rude.
It was great. We had the combo Korean BBQ and the foods were excellent. It was perfect size for two people. I really recommend the Korean BBQ. The meats had really good flavor, we really liked the spicy marinated one. It came with rice and side dishes. We definitely would come back when we visit New York next time!
Came here for lunch and ordered the spicy pork bulgogi. Prices were great because you get a lot of food and you get to try a bit of everything. Food was good but it wasn’t delicious. One of the reviews I read before coming into the restaurant mentioned tue restaurant is really outdated and it’s true. Our server was nice and friendly. I’ll have to come back to try the full Korean bbq experience.
We ordered shrimp for the appetizer but they weren’t my favorite. The batter had a very thick and chewy consistency.
