The food is great, the quantity is massive, the price is reasonable, and the customer service is impeccable. Highly recommend, especially for lunch ($10.50 for a heaping plate of food. Some of the food has been eaten, like the 2 prawns).
My family has been going to Wong's for over thirty years and they have been consistently serving really good Chinese food. Our favorites are spicy eggplant beef and anything salt and pepper fried like pork chops, shrimp or fish. See pictures for their big portion size.
Update 2024:
Wongs is still very good! Some new favorites are Szechuan Tofu, House Fried Rice and fried calamari. Portions and prices are very fair. On a regular day, orders are ready within 10-15 mins of ordering which is one of the fastest restaurants in the industry.
I ordered hot and sour soup. You guys made it very bad. Lack of sourness and hotness.
The soup is called hot and sour soup. Please make it hot and sour just as described. also you guys guys barley put any food in my soup. Very watery and tasteless.
Great chinese food, it may look small outside ,inside it's a nice atmosphere with friendly staff waiting to serve you also your now able to walk in to sit an dine too. Or if prefer worth calling to place an order or walk in are always welcome too. Order will be freshly made an they give you plenty for you to enjoy. Come or call ahead to order soon. Great little chinese spot. They have some of the best wings I've ever tasted (and I'm a total firewing fangirl.) The lunch deals are great and they have a fair variety of options to choose from. It's perfect for a takeout night, as I have yet to eat a single bad meal from here. And with how limited the choices are around this part of North Highlands, having a place with actually good food is a nice treat.
First time coming here. It’s a little hole-in-the-wall place but a gem! Worker was super nice and the place is very clean. The food was really good, got sesame
Chicken and pork fried rice. Also got the cream cheese wontons. Husband got sweet and sour pork, chow mein and egg roll. Was very happy with how tasty everything was. Will definitely come back, highly recommend!
Everyone here is very friendly and the food is ALWAYS delicious! The time between ordering your food and receiving it is never very long, either! My partner and I always have leftovers for another meal later because their serving sizes are plentiful ???? great service & great chinese food
This was My wife's and I first time coming here. It was far better then I expected. There once was a food place on cottage and Fulton called Wei Weis and it was by far the best ever. They closed when I was a teenager. About 18. I have never found food that tastes the same or is as good UNTIL NOW!!!! I never thought I'd experience such amazing food again and I just did last night. I am SOOO happy I found this place. Its worth every penny. And its honestly so cheap for its quantity and quality. My box was FULL. STUFFED!!! SO HEAVY! And they put your Rice or chow main on bottom then the chicken on top so you get more unlike panda or whatever where they keep it in the tiny little sections. At dinner its about 10 a plate. Depending on what you get. But I got a box of kung pao chicken and chow mains and my wife got orange chicken and chow main then we got an extra box of just chow main to be safe because again its our first time. We wanted to make sure we had enough. Because like panda those boxes aren't even filling my child lol ???? but when i got it and opened it I was SOOOO pleased to see HOW MUCH their was. We couldn't even finish our plates!!!! I just had the left overs! Lol but for anyone who needs a REAL review I PROMISE YOU ALL you WILL love it!!! If you aren't sure get that out your head and just go! Im begging you! Let your stomach enjoy this food!!! Id give 10 stars if possible! Enjoy guys!!
