Interesting concept to serve ice cream. Fun to watch them make the rolls. It’s standard ice cream. Not really worth the $9+ for a size of a typical single scoop but interesting enough to warrant the price for the experience once. It may take awhile to get your order but you get to watch them make all the orders while you wait. Tables were a bit dirty but staff was super busy…& friendly too.
Meh. It was just ok.
4 ⭐ for the fun and impressive rolled ice cream process but was not overly wowed by the flavor. Once we got past the limited toppings, it was just plain vanilla ice cream. Nothing memorable. Prices seemed a little steep for quantity but I get part of that is the novelty and extra labor for this type of ice cream.
The interior left a bit to be desired. Without going into detail, it was pretty run down and unkempt.
Can't say we'd be back.
First time visit. Staff were polite and very courteous. Great little ice cream and refreshments option, so glad we tried this place. We will be revisiting when in town again.
What a fun discovery! This was my first time having rolled ice cream and it was fun and delicious. It takes a little longer to prepare (waiting in line is a definite possibility) but it is very entertaining to watch. It's also in a little bit of a sketch neighborhood without very good places to sit outside, but you should definitely give it a try!
Simply amazing! Great taste, beautiful decor/arrangement. We need one back in the Maple Grove/Brooklyn Park area. We had to drive miles away just to get these. We had a blast and the drive was worth it!
My little advice to wonder’s employees: please try to cover your hair while preparing the ice cream. I found a black hair string rolled up in my Vietnamese coffee ice cream yesterday. We understand y’all are busy, but when customers walked in, lift up your heads and greet them. Thank you
Definitely worth it! The ice cream is delicious and actually does look like the pictures on the menu; you can watch them make the ice cream rolls and then arrange the individual rolls and toppings in your cup. The drinks are also quite good. We came here on a Sunday evening, and there was a steady stream of customers, but they were organized and efficient so there was barely a wait. Great place.
Pretty average place. The rolled ice cream is basically heavy whipping cream and flavored syrup. Nothing too fancy. I also ordered their taro strawberry latte, had a weird cereal leftover milk kind of taste. I paid cash, and the guy looked dumbfounded and gave me the wrong change. Overall, I came just for the rolled ice cream experience but will not be returning.
Visited Wonders on a Tuesday afternoon. My first time getting rolled ice cream. Wonders wasn't too busy. There's a good selection of flavors on the menu. Two sizes available, small or regular- $6.25. $7.40 respectively. About what you would expect for specialty ice cream. Great flavor, refreshing for a hot afternoon.
