Best WLM Reviews
Surprised at how great the brunch food is. Breakfast tacos are large and stuffed with fluffy eggs, your choice of bacon or chorizo and cheese. Spiced delicately but enough heat to please. The tacos have a buttery under tone and the tortillas were soft, fresh and toasted slightly. Great salsa. Reasonable prices and good mimosas. It's worth stepping out of Dallas to Irving for a great brunch and better prices.
Home cooking flavor ,attentive service , recommend , salmon and baked potato ,bacon cheese burger ,fries and onion rings
The Good: atmosphere, the tables are neat and clean. Decent Chips and salsa not the best but decent.
The Bad: The worst chimichanga I have ever eaten in my life. It was not deep-fried to golden crisp. It was more like a burrito. Inside the chimichanga, they give you cheese and beans and they shouldn’t because there’s already cheese and beans as sides. You can tell the beans come out of a can and the rice tasted like it was at least a day or two old,
The ugly: our waitress. Not once did she come by our table to see how we were doing not once did she ask if we wanted more water in fact, another waitress had to come by and see if we were OK. Happens to be that the other waitress used to work at Arturo‘s, which is a way better Mexican food experience than this joint. There’s nothing homemade about the food at this place. The pricing is ridiculous for food that comes prepackaged or out of a can, unreal.
I am not sure how this place stays in business with the poor quality food that they serve. We will not be returning, even if we are invited And don’t have to pay.
Avoid this place, you can make better food at home.
????????
Terrible service here.
$20 a plate, food should be amazing.
"You would think"!!!
When I was about to eat. There was a bug on my eggs. When they brought the plate back. They took off half of my sides. "Like it was a punishment". My husband side, he ordered, was a burnt roll and couldn't even bite it. There were nats, flying over our table. They had us in, in the corner table by the bathrooms.
We live an hour and half away and only drove to this restaurant, as we remembered, YEARS AGO, how good the food was. So we wanted to pay a visit again today!. Not worth at all the $100.00 tab we just paid!
Needless to say. The manager was aware of what was going on with our food and told the "waitresses" don't give them a discount", as they got there food.
That is what I was told! Wow....
$19.00 for three single potatoes on a plate, burnt roll for biscuit and gravy, Nats over our food/table and more fat on my steak, then a steak.
Just want everyone to know, about our experience. Sad, the manager never came to check on us, ask if all is good or apologize for the service/food.
Our first time here, it was great. The menu has so many good choices. Very nice staff, great atmosphere. The food was Very Good!.
We found the place we will start eating at from now on. We were greeted in Spanish even if I'm not Mexican hahaha. However, the waitress was nice. You keep them know how much you people are dining in and you can choose where to sit. Perfect!!!
The food was unbelievable. It was huge and good. The country pork chops was the star. It was tender and the gravy was delicious. The chips and salsa was really good as well. Everyone one enjoyed their food. The only thing that needs a little improvement was the mash potatoes w/gravy needs to be hotter. It was cold. The cabbage needed to be seasoned a little bit more. Other that , food is great!
We look forward to eating here again.
My husband and I found this place literally down the block from our home. They have a large menu and the food is wonderful. We've had many different entrees including their chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, bacon cheese burger and both fries and grilled catfish. All entrees come with 3 sides or a salad and one side. Everything we have ordered has been delicious. Whatakes this place so great is not only is the food hot and delicious it's about 4 minutes from where we live.
One of the best Mexican restaurants I have visited! My family and I love the authenticity of the cuisines! Servers are kind and approachable, plus the place is clean and has access to people with disability. Really a good place to eat and unwind!.
