Always enjoy my OB appointments. Staff is great and very kind. They answer all my questions and make sure me and my baby are cared for! Would highly recommend Vanderbilt Women's Health Center to anyone!
I will never go back to this clinic again. They saw something on a CT scan that my hematologist had ordered and that nut said she was going to do a biopsy in the office. I was crying because it hurt so bad and she just kept trying.
When I screamed NO More she finally stopped and treated me terrible.
Do yourself a favour and steer clear..
Stay away especially if you want your unborn child and yourself to live. Currently 14 weeks pregnant. Been a patient here since I was 16 and currently 36 years old. Nurse Cristin and Marci are the worst I ever experienced. They don’t follow up with crucial lab work and will give you the run around until you get corporate involved then they will formulate a lie to try and cover their rear end. Top tier negligence is what you will receive from this office. They will not look at your urine even after being advised about having a history of UTI until you’re pissing blood. If you try and transfer to another clinic they will not send the information requested. They do the bare minimum to care for their patients. If you have concerns or advocate for your health. You are better off talking to a wall because that’s what you will feel like dealing with this clinic. A law suit is definitely brewing with this office based on the negligence I have received and I’m sure others are receiving as well. Good thing I’m a nurse and know to be on top of things or this would have definitely caused harm to myself and my unborn child. Definitely don’t recommend this office nor anyone practicing in it.
This place is very caring and attentive to their patients. Any time I need to be in contact with the office, everyone from the ladies at the front desk to the providers, are extremely friendly and helpful. I can’t express enough how refreshing it is to find somewhere that genuinely cares about you and doesn’t try to force their opinion. Great work to the team, keep it up!
I highly recommend asking for Dr. Stockwell as your physician. He is kind and caring. He listens to all of your concerns and addresses each one right away so nothing is forgotten. He makes you feel as if your the only patient he's seeing that day. He doesn't push you in a certain direction but offers choices and helps you understand the importance of the decision while also providing you with the pros and cons. I have yet to find a better Dr that I liked as much as him.
I had my worst experience ever at a doctor’s office and I will not return to this gynecologist. I patiently waited an hour to be seen by the doctor. She rushed in to explain the procedure and I explained that I was told we could also review my blood work and answer my personal questions. I was cut off by the doctor who advised she only had time for the procedure and to give me vaccines. I felt like this was about scheduling another appointment which my insurance wouldn’t cover and pushing for vaccines. I felt like she didn’t listen, she didn’t care and was rushing to be done with me. I still have no answers and no one has reached out to answer my questions or assist with what I initially went there for. If you aren’t happy with your job and your patients annoy you then look for another job. I took time out of my day and my work schedule to go to this appointment. I never had this experience with a gyno before and the doctor should re-evaluate her professionalism and at least pretend to care.
Loved the facility, doctors, and the nurse practitioner! They got me through a full term healthy pregnancy and were always attentive to my needs. The lobby never smelled liked cigarette smoke and the one time I sat for more than thirty minutes waiting on an appointment (I didn’t see the sign) I walked up and was instantly taken back to see the doctor. The nurse on call was always available for after hour pregnancy questions. Even the women scheduling my future appointments were friendly and kind.
I recently gave birth here and has been into the clinic just moments ago . I always look forward to seeing Suzanne Adkins ,CNM she is the BEST EVER!! so fast , efficient, caring and most of all she listens . I LOVE HER !!!!!!! She deserves all the stars , Vanderbilt is really lucky to have her .
