Please don't waste time here. Waited for 4 months to get my first appointment. Finally after seeing Dr. Kendrick, she recommended removing polyps which happened the next month. (Luckily she had time to do that). But after surgery she was completely booked so no follow up. No call from the doctor and no appointment. After a month I was experiencing very heavy bleeding so called and guess what I have wait for another 4 months to be seen by a nurse practitioner. Pathetic care quality
BE CAREFUL - The doctor may be in-network but they will, without consent, send your tests out-of-network, costing you $$$. This just happened to me. I drive an hour out of my way to see my in-network provider for an emergency, took off from work, and was charged $450 for something that has only ever cost me $11-$15!!!
Never coming here again, which is a shame because they delivered my baby.
Tip that may or may not help but it’s worth a shot- write “IN NETWORK ONLY” on any and all paperwork you sign at a doctor’s office in the state of Texas.
I transferred from a different doctor office for prenatal care and I have had a great experience here. The front desk staff has gone above and beyond for me and ensured that every request that I’ve made has been met. Every time I walk in, they know who I am immediately and it’s always pleasant. My doctor is Dr. Allen and she has been PHENOMENAL along with her nurse Dora! I have seen other partners to Dr. Allen and they have been nothing short of amazing as well. The few rare times I’ve had to wait have been because of understandable reasons (previous patients emergencies) and I was offered to see Casey or reschedule which I appreciated deeply. I would highly recommend this office!!
Dr. Kindrick is amazing. Love her but barely get to see her.
I just spent 55 min to see her to get asked if I wanted to see the nurse to be able to be seen faster?
I literally waited almost 1 hour to not see her, the only solution is not to see her and still wait this long.
Changing doctors. Every appt during pregnancy was the same wait, same story.
Amazing doctor only if you have time to wait to see her.
I have had too many red flags with this office. I really wanted to like it since it was 5 min away from my house. Here's what my experience has been like: 1. First visit was actually great, met with my doctor and saw a friendly nurse. I felt comfortable. I let them know I previously had gestational diabetes and would probably need to be tested earlier, to which they agreed and that I should probably have the test around 16 weeks and then again at 20. It was a bit of a red flag that Dr. Allen said my GD was probably due to being a vegetarian. Since I know it has to do with a hormone in your placenta. It felt like I was getting blamed for something that the placenta does on its own. But overall the appt. was ok so I stayed the course. 2. Second appointment my doctor was unavailable. I believe she was in delivery, no big deal, she's a baby doctor so that makes sense. The nurse comes in and says I need to do the early glucose test, and I questioned her on why so early (12 weeks), she said because I've had previous history. I knew this but went along with it. Another nurse comes in and apologizes, they gave me the test too early. Do you think I didn't have to pay for a pointless test that was given too early lol nope. Still paid for it! As with every appt. it was rushed and less than 5 min despite a long wait time. 3. I had a subchorionic hematoma and thought I was having a miscarriage. I went to the ER and explained baby was ok but I was at risk of a miscarriage. They weren't able to see me until 30 hrs later which I thought was unbelievable for someone going through a possible miscarriage. This appt was with the nurse again because the doctor was on vacation. Another long wait time and rushed appt. I didn't feel any compassion or warmth and on top of that no one seemed to know what had happened to me despite me calling and speaking to the nurse in detail about. 4. I was excited for this appointment, it was my first appointment with my doctor since the start, mind you this is halfway through my pregnancy and this point, I've seen Dr. Allen once! I'm waiting for 40 min in the waiting room before I'm finally called up front and told she won't be making the appointment. 5. I was rescheduled to have another appt with Dr. Allen to go over my sonogram. She told me that the baby looked good, did not ask about my hemorrhage or anything else. It seemed very rushed and like she had no notes on what I had gone through. 6. My most recent appointment was my 24 week appointment. I went in early to get my glucose test done since it was not done at 20 weeks like discussed and 24 weeks is the typical draw period. The phlebotomist stated she didn't see an order put in for it. She then went to speak to a nurse who looked over my file and said it was time for me to have it and she'd put an order in. This is not normal, I should not be remembering MYSELF when I need to have vital tests done, this should be on record. I go and wait to see the doctor. 20 min after the start time I'm called back, I let the nurse know I have questions since I tested positive for covid. She states oh you have covid? Yes, I tell her, I spoke with a nurse a day prior who told me if I have no flu like symptoms to come in, but to wear a mask, so I did. She then goes to the desk outside the appointment room and starts talking with other nurses, loudly, about me having covid and coming in here. I hear one of them say " She has COVID! Why is she here then? Who told her that was ok??". I open the door and let them know the name of the nurse that I spoke to and kindly reminded them that I can hear everything they are saying. It was so unprofessional and rude. On top of that I end up waiting another 30 min in the appointment room. A nearly hour wait time.
"Quality Care, Timeliness Needs Attention"
Having been a loyal patient for 5 years at both the Southlake and Alliance locations, my experiences at this medical facility have been a mix of satisfaction and frustration. While the cleanliness and ample parking are commendable, the recurring issue of appointments running significantly late dampens the overall experience. Dr. Lopez, OBGYN my physician, is genuinely kind and attentive, but the extended wait times often exceed the window I've allocated, causing inconvenience. I understand emergencies happen, but consistent delays impact patients who, like me, juggle work commitments. Ensuring better adherence to appointment schedules would greatly enhance the overall quality of care provided. Here's hoping for improved timeliness to match the commendable service provided by the dedicated medical staff. #QualityCare #TimelinessMatters
I would give 0 stars if I could. I had Dr. Kodeih who delivered my 2 kids, and she was great! But then she left and during that time they got new staff, and a new office manager and everything went downhill. Then I got pregnant and they switched me to Dr. Riley.. which unfortunately I miscarried and they failed to catch me getting an infection which I kept insisting I had... and then she left! The ultrasound tech was amazing. She was the only one who showed any kind of emotion and was genuinely kind to me during that time. Soooo then I got pregnant again months later and they moved me to Dr. Kendrick... I have never met the lady and I already had the worst experience with her! Here I am, high risk and they don't want to schedule my 1st appointment until I'm in my 2nd trimester.... (NOT HAPPENING!) On top of that I was having some pain, and so they got me in to see the nurse practitioner who recommended me go see an ONCOLOGIST cause she thought I had BREAST CANCER!? Why give me a breast cancer scare like that??? Just run some blood work?? So long story short.. I found a different OB NOT AT WOMENS INTEGRATED and will never be back. Oh and I've already been to 2 appointments and I'm just now getting into my 2nd trimester. Womens integrated is overbooked, and the staff has 0 f's to give for their patients (other than the ultrasound tech). Once upon a time they were great but I wouldn't ever trust them with one of my babies lives ever again.
Do not give Women’s Health any of your time or money. After 9 years, enough is enough. The patient care is terrible. I have left multiple msg on phone and online, to schedule appointments, without return calls. So many, that I finally went to the office in person, to schedule. Which they were not apologetic for the terrible service. Front reception is the worst. The nurse practitioners that partner with the OBGYN‘s are equally awful and will never call you back. No more. Taking my healthcare elsewhere.
