Doctor Cook is amazing. Her and her staff are very professional and comforting. For someone that took 30 years to see a gynecologist I am extremely satisfied. They are super helpful, went above and beyond to reassure me and help in any way possible. I highly recommend Doctor Cook. She is the best!! If I would have had this kind of experience 30 years ago, I would have continued my health care them. So thankful I have an excellent doctor now. Words can not express how thankful I am for all she has done. Doctor Cook and her staff are game changers and have raised the bar to beyond excellence.
WHP is such a great practice! The check in staff are polite and it is very easy to make appointments with follow up care. Alexis NP is knowledgeable, kind, and has a great bedside manner. I saw Dr. Parry for a endometriosis evaluation and he broke everything down for me and offered many options. For such a troublesome and scary situation women go through, he made me feel comfortable and heard. He was understanding of my choice not to proceed with surgery at that time and let me have complete autonomy. Thank you!
I recommend h Alexis Harlan, NP 100%. She is so personable and her caring demeanor put me at ease. The staff was so friendly and efficient. The office is nice and clean. I'm very pleased with the visit.
I don’t know where to start . Front desk, receptionist Desiree. Oh my god on point and so amazing always has a smile and remembers my name . Alexis, my nurse practitioner that I see on point amazing walk you through everything that she’s going to do before she does it her assistant nurse absolutely lovely & very helpful.this wonderful place makes me feel like home and very clean .i have all good things to say .
In April 2024 I had an appointment with Carol Landry, CNM at the location on Springview Lane. I have put off seeking care for many years so I was somewhat nervous. I had a short wait, maybe 10 minutes past my appointment time, in the lobby. I had filled out the forms online, so the paper forms they gave me when I made the appointment were not needed. CNM Landry put me at ease, answered my questions and provided referrals to other area facilities for exams needed by people my age. (The other facilities called me within days to make the appointments, making things very easy for me.) I had no pain or discomfort and I did not feel the appointment was rushed. Within 3 business days Nurse Landry called me to let me know the results of my test.
The nurse or medical assistant who took my history and vitals was also polite and professional. The desk staff was helpful and friendly when I made the appointment, when I checked in and when I checked out after my appointment.
I'm very thankful to have found WHP.
Dr. Parry is excellent. He’s throughout. He listens to my wife and her needs. She has endometriosis and he’s been a great advocate for her and how to handle flare ups. We drive from Columbia, SC to Summerville just because he is so great and the best at handling the endometriosis cases in the entire state. I recommend him to all who will listen.
Dr Cook has taken care of me through the years with compassion and professionalism. Even with her busy schedule she has managed to make not only me but now my daughter feel like we are her #1 priority. The front staff at the Oakbrook location are always kind and accomidating to our families needs. Thank you so much for taking care of us during scary times.
I assume this office no longer takes new patients. I had called trying to make an appointment as a new patient no one ever answers the phone so you have to leave a message. The VM states that they will call you back within 48 hours but after 2 weeks I called and left another VM still no return calls after another week so I thought maybe their VM is not working and I emailed the office. Provided my contact information and still no one calls and no response to my email either after another week has gone by. If they are taking new patients and this is just a representation of how the office works I guess I should be greatful that they did not call me back.
