Having Dr. Young, really listen and hear how multifaceted the issues and symptoms are that I am having and not just wanting to say this is how I see it, here is the medicine I feel you need, and see you in another 3 months.
I feel Dr. Young recognized that my case is going to take time to really work on helping to treat what needs to be treated because of the difficulties it involves.
Dr Young is willing to work with where my body is at to help me find what medication will work for me.
He met with me, and went over my case before I had to undress so that Dr. Young could do the rest of the examination I needed, which I truly appreciated.
He made me feel welcome, and recognized that I am the patient first and foremost. He was very polite, but very empathic, and understanding which is what I needed in order to know I can get the help needed, and not just be a number to be checked off.
So Thank You, Dr Young, for making me feel recognized, and heard.
I went into women’s health to get birth control because I am going to get married in the end of December. I met with Deb Lustig PA and she was incredible. She answered all of my questions, was incredibly competent and smart, and she made me feel very comfortable. I am very grateful I went into women’s health because I was nervous about the whole process because I am from California and don’t have a lot of people/providers that I know in Virginia.
Today I went in for my yearly exam and I was very pleased with my visit. A friend of mine suggested Courtney Atongnong as my provider and I must say she did not disappoint. She explained to me what I was experiencing and delivered very promising solutions for me to try. The lady that was assisting her during my visit, made me feel very comfortable as well. Overall, this appointment went better than I expected and I highly recommend Courtney Atongnong to any other ladies who are wanting a professional experience.
I was shown kindness upon entering the registration window. I had a difficult time trying to locate my insurance cards, but the receptionist made me feel at ease by saying take your time. That meant a lot to me for I had driven a little over an hour to reach the office. Next I was called back for weight, etc and prep to see the doctor. Everyone was so kind. All of my questions were answered and I did not feel that anyone hurried me along. Next lab..well typically it takes time to draw blood from me ..small veins. The three technicians worked together to get the amount of blood needed….frequently asking “Are you alright”. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
The doctor and all the staff are most accommodating and friendly. The only reason I gave a four star instead of five is because I felt they should have looked at my record.before I came in and known that I needed a certain test. They did not so now I have to go back.
I have been coming to Women’s Health Services all my life. I have had several different providers due to some retiring, etc. I had an appointment yesterday and was treated great from check-in to check-out everyone was really nice and polite. I saw Dr. Justice for the first time and would recommend him to anyone who ask.
I can’t say enough good things about this place! I came in and immediately was greeted by a young person with such a positive attitude, personable, and made me feel incredibly comfortable. This is my first mammogram as I’ve just turned 40. When I went back to have the mammogram done, the staff back there were absolutely incredible!! Very friendly, talked me through the entire procedure, they were gentle, I did not feel judged or scared in any way shape or form. The facility is like a spa! Outstanding and immaculately clean. For women’s health, this is a Destination place in Lynchburg.
Women’s health of central Virginia is a welcoming place with a friendly staff. The check in is easy and quick. Everyone I’ve ever encountered there has been kind and answered any questions I’ve had knowledgeably and have sent referrals quickly on my behalf. The women, whether doctors, nurses, PAs or other job positions always make me feel comfortable and feel like talking to someone I’ve known for a long time.
