Best WLM Reviews

I had an appointment at the Union Deposit location.
The front desk receptionist immediately acknowledged me and asked if I needed to check-in. She was pleasant and checked me in within a reasonable amount of time. My wait time was less than 15 minutes to go back to a room.
The MA was very polite, kind and cheerful. She was thorough.
I waited less than 10 minutes for the physician. I saw Melanie Myers the Nurse Practitioner. She was absolutely amazing! Very kind, polite, impeccable bed side manor, very informative, and easy to speak to about my concerns, which I was nervous to discuss. She made me feel very comfortable and heard.
I had blood drawn for genetic testing the same day and the nurse was so kind and did a fabulous job!
I am a new patient to this practice and I could not be more pleased with my experience.
There is a reason they get very low ratings. The office manager Debra just hung up on me for calling to speak with her for a legitimate concern. I came to this office for a gynecological issue and needed help. I was scheduled with a midwife- I am not pregnant and this is an inappropriate provider for me. They are not trained for this type of issue. I wasted my time going to this appointment the midwife did not have any knowledge about my issue and it was a complete waste of my time. The office manager is rude and the midwife is working out of her scope of practice. I wasted my time and was hung Up on bc Debra is hiding behind her phone and has no clue what to do. Go elsewhere.
This place is great , the staff is kind. I specifically requested something and they have honored that request since the beginning without any issues.
This is my third pregnancy with Women's 1st, fourth total. Up until yesterday, I never necessarily had any complaints. My doctors have all been attentive and made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. The back and forth with labs and scheduling can be frustrating, but they have always done their best to worth with my work schedule and the fact that we have three other little ones' schedules to work around. Yesterday I had my routine prenatal checkup at the Fredrickson location. Upon check in, the receptionist had an attitude as if she just didn't want to be there. My nurse was great, doctor was wonderful, assuring me today was the day for my NIPT labs, the lab was open until 5, and she put an asap note on my chart to the receptionist because my schedule doesn't allow for back and forth trips constantly. Head to check out of my appointment and grab my test kit to head to labs and was immediately met with a snippy attitude from the receptionist, Kim. Without a word in myself, she read my doctor's notes and said, "Yeah, you can't do that today. I'm leaving at 4:30, it was already scheduled for me to leave early. You'll have to just come back another day." She gave me no option to bring my sample back to a nurse or other doctor, and was extremely rude when I mentioned the Union Deposit location, as my doctor had mentioned I could also go there as well. Kim responded very sharp, "I lived across the river, you'd never make it in time. And we are closed tomorrow. You could wait until your next appointment in four weeks." So frustrated and appalled at her shortness and unwarranted nastiness, we left and I immediately called the Union Deposit location where the lady happily took care of my concerns and set me up with a specific time appointment at their location for the very next day (rather than Fredickson's difficult walk-in lab hours), also apologizing for the rude treatment I got from the receptionist earlier.
Overall, the office and doctors have been great, but Kim the receptionist better take the patients into consideration and do her job to better serve and treat them with respect. It is difficult as it is to schedule around everything life throws at you, but to be treated poorly based off the notes my doctor left was completely uncalled for. I hope I don't encounter her again!
Awful. I've gone here for years and have problems with the doctors, staff, and front desk woman. I got my pap smear and everything came back negative and they told me I have persistence of leisure that needs colposcopy, went to my family dr for second opinion after this and they reached out and the obgyn says " our mistake, good catch"...not to mention I'm pregnant. Went here for my 3rd pregnancy 4 weeks after I had my appendix out with surgery complications and told them I want to know if the baby is OK, they didn't check the baby at all and was more concerned about drug history. Every experience is gets worse and thankful I found a place that actually cares about my well being
The doctors are wonderful but the reception needs pointers on how to do their job. No courtesy calls if your appointment will need to be rescheduled until you arrive ( living 45 minutes away and being 37 weeks pregnant a call would be appreciated ) no apologies just plain ignorance. Patricia at check out is rude she obviously hates her job and again plain ignorance towards me. All in all the reception area needs a training course on being polite. (My experience at the union deposit location only five stars for the staff/doctors whom worked with me and no stars for check out lady Patricia)
I have been seeing Dr. Krishnamurthy for the past 17 years. She is a fantastic practitioner- listens carefully to concerns, very caring, and personable! The staff at the Union Deposit facility is all very friendly and efficient. I feel like things have become much easier and streamlined since the joined up with UPMC with their patient portal.
I’ve been going here for years. Each experience with the front desk gets worse every time I go in. Today was no different. Completed online checkin prior to the appointment. What happens, get there and get asked every question that I’ve already answered online. I told Marsha, the front desk rep, I completed online checkin, yet she continued. I was annoyed and so was she. What’s the point of online check in if the front desk associates are going to do it again in-person. To top it off, she removed my current pcp, and when I scheduled my monogram today, there wasn’t a dr to link it to. I told her my pcp is the same until I see the new one, who’s also under UPMC. Please provide additional training for your your front desk staff. This is ridiculous. It should not be this hard. Really read these awful reviews and make changes. However, the clinical staff in the back is awesome along with the front desk rep in back for checkout.
