Best WLM Reviews

Such a fantastic staff and place to stay. I grew up in the area and I've never thought to camp here until now. We will be coming back again soon and often. My daughter loved all of the fun stuff to do for kids and the little shop on site is so convenient. This is one of the best camp grounds I've stayed. Everyone is so nice and respectful. The lady's working the front desk genuinely love their job.
The campsite offers easy access, satisfactory facilities, and is situated in a great location close to many local attractions and amenities. However, tent campers should be aware of significant road noise at night, which may affect light sleepers. Despite this, the convenience and proximity to everything the area has to offer make it a desirable spot for those seeking adventure or relaxation. The facilities are well-maintained, and the site is easily accessible, adding to its overall appeal for a wide variety of campers.
We really enjoyed our stay, however it is close to the highway but still pretty and peaceful. The only reason for not having 5 stars is that the booking says bedding was provided and when we checked in the beds only had sheets and no comforter like the pictures show. Overall a nice relaxing weekend
This is a cute family campground tucked into a beautiful valley next to I-90. Yes, there is some road noise, but it’s easy to find and on your way. This is a great gateway location for heading out on the bike trails or hikes. I especially recommend Mineral Point which is across the freeway and around the bend.
Showers were hot, office was kind and helpful.
I stayed in the A frame cabin. It was super cute. Bring your own coffee pods.
Men’s showers and bathrooms are a wreck. No heat in shower/bathrooms, both toilets were broken and water pressure is low. Plenty of hot water is a plus. Bathrooms are just one small step above a sanitation can at a concert. We were on the road for 3 weeks and covered about 3800 miles and these were the worst we encountered. ||Some serious money needs to be invested to clean up both of these areas. ||The rest of the site is fine and quite nice except for the freeway noise that is 300-400 feet away.
We had a great time! The vendors for the festival were so nice, we especially liked the one booth that had her kids selling apple cider.
We had trailer problems with the lift not going up so we could hook up and the staff were so nice to help us out and we were able to remedy the problem and avoided a service call.
For me, the highway traffic is a slight draw back, I love peace and quite when I am camping.
We did not stay in a room but their RV parking was good and easy to access. They were very accommodating of our early evening arrival and had our welcome packet all ready for us. Nice place, quiet and convenient. Lots of activities if we could have stayed longer or were traveling with children.
My grandson and I came for the weekend and had a wonderful fun time! Met some nice people, played with dogs at the dog park. We made a fire outside of our cabin and made s’mores after dinner. The microwave and fridge made it easy to eat there.
The most fun we had was kayaking on the stream. We will be back!
( Since the campground is right on the busy highway, I would suggest earplugs for most people. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful location!)
