Best WLM Reviews

Couldn't be happier we chose this place out of all nearby sushi places. Attentive courteous knowledgeable servers? Check! Fresh food and prompt service? Check! Great warm atmosphere and design? Check!
Nice sake collection plus they have some seating at a chef's station where you can watch food being plated.
Atmosphere was mostly afterwork crowd and not overly loud.
The fatty tuna was amazing. Not so crazy overall for Japanese desserts but that's my personal preference.
The food was great.
One of the servers brought us the check again after we tipped saying “this is the minimum tip you should pay. I don’t understand this amount at all.” We were almost forced to pay the tip even though it wasn’t something special when paying 150+ for food. I’m not sure if I want to revisit this place although I really liked the food.
Used to come more often to Eastside... when working for Japanese firm... Sushi Yasuda, etc...
One of the best.. especially after Sushiden's gone. Like Sushi Ann, Hatsuhana, Hakubai as well as Sushi of Gari's too. But, not as of a fan for Sugarfish.
Here.. tall ceiling, good decor of woods, Japanese tiles, ropes... ambiance with bar full of Japanese sake and beer welcoming.
Food excellent. Both mix of generous portion as well as high quality pieces. $150 omakase not the only option... thus, wide spectrum from Sushi enthusiasts as well as casual drinking, tapas-like scene.
Love dashi mini pot. Can't resist refill. Always end up ordering more... but, eat all...

This restaurant is a true culinary delight! From fresh sashimi and sushi to grilled fish and seafood dishes, every bite is a burst of flavor and freshness. The quality of the seafood is outstanding, with each dish showcasing the natural flavors of the ocean. The service is impeccable with attentive staff who are knowledgeable and accommodating. They ensure a pleasant dining experience with prompt service and personalized recommendations. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for seafood lovers seeking a top-notch dining experience.
Came here for dinner. Oyster was fresh, the steak was excellent and we got this assorted fish bowl which was also very fresh and amazing. Would definitely come back to check out their lunch specials.
4.5 is the right rating. The food is uneven. The fish is excellent but, for example, the king crab was really freezer burned - and should never have been served/on the menu (particularly for $90). The yakitori is also meh - and for the fish/sushi/sashimi being so good, the other food (and desserts) disappoint.
Stay with the fish only and it's a five. Venture off and it's a 3.
Their Chirashi bowl was the highlight of the meal! Super fresh and the soup was refreshing! A must !!!
However their oyster doesnt lived up my expectations considering it has some stone clumps and kinda small
Their totoro was good but the plating looks kinda out of theme comparing to the other dishes that were plated aesthetically!
Excellent food, very fresh and taste like real Japanese dishes. For lunch they have combo option, for dinner à la carte. I tried many different entries instead of having a main dish and all were delicious. I recommend making reservation in advance.
