Best WLM Reviews
I tried this place once and the food the kung pao chicken was poor quality chicken, the sauce was nothing I recognize as Kung Pao sauce, and it was all celery. I tried the place because I wanted to talk to the owner about the fact that he had hired a bum to put their menu on front doors in our neighborhood and the bum was looking in garages, parked cars, going around to back yards...basically checking out what was easy to steal in the neighborhood. I was too open minded trying the food. If the owner cares nothing more for your safety then to pay a bum to scope out your neighborhood then I don't know how anyone can trust his food handling practices. Being in Euless it's not easy to get the latest food safety inspection report but I finally found it and some others before it and none of them are outstanding. A little below average with some occasional screamer deductions (turtles on the "ready bar"???).
Being raised with a traditional grandmother from Japan always had the desire for good asian food. Wok Xpress they have a very tasteful authentic Asian culture cuisine selection is well done. My personal fav is the Mongolian Lil spicy but definitely worth it
I went to the drive thru. I ordered sweet and sour chicken. I asked for Chinese hot mustard and the guy didn't know what I was talking about. That should of been a warning to keep on driving. I asked for hot sause at window...but wasnt put in bad. Not even eating utensils....The chicken was tough and over fried. The owners before the pandemic had a good Asian restaurant. The new owners don't know anything about running this place. Just look at the dining area. It looks like storage place. This place survives off one time customers.
I don’t usually leave bad reviews but I feel like I was forced to, today. I didn’t even plan on eating out today but my baby girl wanted sesame chicken . We always get our Chinese food from Wok Xpress. I drive from Irving to Euless to get food here, bypassing other Asian restaurants.
I’ve been coming here for years but I’m going to have to find a new establishment to frequent. The quality of the food today was subpar at best. It tasted old as if it had been recooked from days before. And there’s barley any chicken. (See photos).
I understand that a lot of small businesses have had to raise prices but you can’t raise prices while also making the portions smaller and the quality poorer.
This isn’t the first time the food was lacking, but a pattern is definitely emerging.
This was once a great place to eat with a nice serving of food but not anymore. The portion is so small and there are only a few pieces of protein in the plate. Don't waste your money. I know we are going through hard times but, it makes no sense to pay more for less.
I frequently order lunch from this joint. At first it looked like cheep mall Chinese food but I’m glad I took a chance. This wok rocks! I’ve only been let down once, the Lo Mein was so lame. Nice folks too!
I came to Wok Express a few months ago and I thought it was a bit over priced but the food was pretty good. Well, after last night I’ll never return. We paid an extra $2 for noodles instead of rice and I asked for no vegetables. My friend paid for the food and I noticed she didn’t leave a tip and I felt a little bad. But, when we got home and no napkins, no noodles and there were vegetables on my food, which I love vegetables but not on my sweet and sour chicken. So I call up there to talk to someone and the lady gets on the phone and no offense but I had a hard time understanding her, but she tells me to come next weekend, she only works weekends. Then we hang up. My friend starts eating and she’s like eww the egg roll tastes funny, I taste one and it is sour tasting. Awful! The sweet and sour chicken is over cooked, not much chicken, the sesame chicken is fine, but now I can’t eat it because I’m just disappointed. Will not be returning, not even for a possible free meal.
Went to check it out for a quick side of fried rice and doors locked at 9. Literally says on the door that they're open every day until 10pm. Bogus and disappointing.
