Best WLM Reviews
This was our first experience here at Wok & Roll Buffet. And I do Not believe it will be our last! We totally enjoyed our dinner. I have never tasted better coconut shrimp. Such a wide variety of items to choose from. I love the fresh pineapple as well. And the dumplings were so yummy. Our server was so kind as well. We loved just about everything we tried. I totally recommend it.
Friday, November 8, 2024; my family ate there. It was our first time dining in. We have only ordered take-out or delivery through one of the third-party delivery websites or apps in the past. We have also placed orders directly from their website and picked up in the past. The service was fast, professional, pleasant, and attentive. I always crave their soups on cooler days (it was on Friday when we ate there, and it was cold that day). Their soups are amazing, and perfect for Fall or Winter weather. They are also great when I am sick or fighting a cold. I also love their fried rice. They are my new favorite Asian-fusion restaurant, and have been ordering from them for the last couple years. It was expensive for a family of 3, though (plus tip). We will be back, or will order from them again, though. Everyone is so nice there. Keep in mind, it is a buffet.
New update(October 2024): Just five minutes after I arrived, they pressured me into eating sushi with rice. I had already eaten four pieces of sushi. It's my birthday today, and they ruined my day. I won’t be coming to this store again.
Last review: I've been here more than 20 times. The food is good, and the prices are reasonable. However, the waitress forced me to give a tip before I had even finished eating. It was very embarrassing, and she was very rude.
I’ve been to many buffets and this one was mediocre, just ok. It definitely was not worth the dinner price we paid which was about $25 for each person. The sushi selection wasn’t very fresh or good unless you like imitation crab. The sashimi was fine but there wasn’t much of it and I had to wait a while for it to be replaced. The rest of the food wasn’t very fresh either. I wasn’t impressed by much of anything there. They have the common foods you usually see at Asian buffets but not cooked exceptionally well. My wife loves Asian buffets but was very disappointed here, to the point where she apologized for suggesting to try this place. I did like how they had lychee fruit in the fruit bar. That’s the only thing that stood out to me as a positive thing, besides not getting sick from the food. Unfortunately while at the fruit bar, the lady refilling the fruit came up from behind me and without saying anything, she bumped my arm with a fruit tray and put it down and walked away without saying anything. We will not be returning.
They had a really good variety of shrimp dishes. I tried six different kinds of shrimp and was pleased with all of them. The crab legs were also very good. The food was hot and fresh. I have been to many chinese buffets and this is the first one that I have been to that served real ice cream as a desert. Not ice milk that you get at a dairy queen and to top it off they had six different flavors. In a city filled with excellent Mexican restaurants this is a nice change.
Of the handful of Chinese buffets in Tucson that I’ve tried over the years, this one stands out as the best. The serving trays always appear full of hot, fresh, colorfully appetizing variety; the serving lines are clean. Everything I’ve tasted there has been yummy. They also have a sushi line, which I’ve yet to visit; maybe next time. I live on the east side and there is a Chinese buffet much closer to home, but it pales in terms of quality, variety & atmosphere, making the long drive across town to Wok & Roll well worth it.
I was happy to be there…until I got the bill. 3 people is $80. We ate 2 plates. They charged us for the sea food buffet and we didn’t get sea food. I’m very disappointed. Food was mid. There was not $80 worth of food. We even got waters. Will never be returning.
Everything was excellent! I enjoyed most of the food here. This is probably the only buffet that offers crab legs. Sushi bar offers so many different rolls. Also serves raw salmon.
Ice cream flavors are awesome! 8 different flavors and great quality not some junky ice cream.
Great services too!
$21 for dinner I believe which is not bad.
