I love a good buffet so I like this place. I’ve never had had issue here. But i had issues elsewhere I think its important to be kind running a business is hard. I went to different buffet many years ago and saw a roach and instead of getting angry I thought about the traffic in and out this place the doors that are constantly open and honestly, it’s a good possibility Out of the hundreds of people cycling through a day somebody could have brought it in. Anyways, moral of the story is I still keep going back. the food good I’ve never gotten sick and I never saw it again. I think people forget that we live on a very populated world populated with people pest and animals.
We've eaten here a hand full of times now and we're always had good experiences. The food is always fresh and restocked. The buffet is always clean as well as the dinning areas. Theres a self serve soda fountain and Ice Cream bar thats included in the price.
The sushi selection is an added bonus to the Chinese Buffet. Theres plenty of room for parties of any family size. We definately recommend this place and we will continue to stop in when we are in the area and able to! Keep up the good work! ????????
Went right at 11 am. as we were passing through. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. Staff was very welcoming. Very efficient process of paying when you come in and receiving your cup and silverware upon paying. Makes for an easy exit when you are finished. There was an abundance of items to choose from. You shouldn't leave here hungry.
Great food with a large selection. I'm a sushi freak, and I really enjoyed theirs. Lots of booths and tables to choose from. Wasn't super busy! Definitely will go back.
I eat here maybe once a month with my family. The staff has always been friendly to us and the food has always been fresh enough. It's not Michelin, but it's a buffet that keeps things clean and the quality consistent when consistency at a buffet can be hard to keep. I also have met a few of the reviewers on here who have claimed to have found rodents and bugs and these people have no credibility as they've destroyed their reputations in town for various reasons. Even if their claims are true, I am confident that the owners do what they need to to meet standards. I've worked in the Walmart deli where they have mice in mice traps and I've cooked in high end restraunts where they're fighting off pests too. I dont believe Wok N Roll is ignoring any issues and I do believe they do what they can to prevent issues from happening.
Idk why some people complain. I had a lunch and I'll be back! Just wish they had more shrimps . I really liked cheese corn and beef egg rolls. Yummy.
3.5 to 4.0 stars. If you go right between 11AM and Noon when everything is fresh, you'll be greeted with a nice selection of items including fried fish with tartar sauce and a number of other items including ribs, many of which you don't see on smaller buffets. A quick and pain free trip from the interstate, not having to go deep into Albert Lea at all to get to it is kind of nice.
There are a few items that are fairly unique and quite good. However, my impression of the buffet as a whole is that the chicken selections were average to below average which dragged down my total score. Two of my favorite places to eat chinese are closer to where I live. They both have honey chicken, peanut chicken, and a much better tasting general tsos... the chicken selections at this place were similar tasting and the variety was lacking compared to my favorites.
My suggestion to them... add honey and peanut chicken (and ginger chicken if you can make it) to the buffet and toss something trivial like the french fries... that combined with eating between 11AM and Noon should net a 4.5 star experience.
If you're heading west on I-90 and are passing by Brandon, SD consider giving the buffet there a try.. the chicken selections are top notch.
Plenty of people hating on this place. We enjoyed it a lot. We stopped in at supper time and everything was full. Maybe not 5 minutes fresh but it was good. Fortune cookies were stale and terrible
