Best WLM Reviews

This was a wonderful dining experience. The dining room is tiny which could pose some problems if you have a large party or they're full. But the atmosphere was wonderful, very cozy and quiet enough to talk to people at your table.
As a gluten free eater (non-celiac) this was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. After placing our order our server made sure to point out the allergens present or avoided in every dish that was brought out, down to the fortune cookies and after dinner mint. It was so reassuring, especially when the food looks so good you're not sure it could be gluten free.
We shared egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, and peanut chicken (all breaded and fried) and I am happy to report that I didn't have a gluten reaction at all. I will absolutely be returning to this little gem of a restaurant.
Oh my, Wok in Wok out strikes again! I ordered everything gluten free - chicken fried rice, chicken vegetable roll and general tso to go.
I got the tso in the lunch portion, as I haven’t had it in years and couldn’t remember what it tasted like. I didn’t even make it out of the parking lot. Ate half of the chicken and went in and ordered a dinner portion with sauce on the side (I live in Pueblo West, better for traveling). I have also tried the chicken with mixed veggies. The egg roll is incredible! I tried that before I left to get the best experience. All are absolutely delicious! Even with a bit of travel time.
The gal was excited to share they will be ADDING more GF items to the menu!
A couple she mentioned were curry fried rice and singapore noodles. She said to keep an eye out for the new menu in a couple weeks. They are in the process of updating the website. And have menus almost ready to go. ????????
I researched Thai restaurants before traveling to Colorado Springs. I decided to go with Wok In Wok Out, first off because the GREAT reviews, second because of the name of the place. Absolutely delicious. I am so happy I came here to eat. Delicious. Great service. Small comfortable atmosphere. The Thai Basil Beef is on point!!
I would definitely come here again if I was in the area.
The ONLY gluten free Chinese food you can get, and not only it being gluten free, the food in general is so delicious, clean, and fresh.
Most Chinese places have very generic tasting dishes and sauces, but you can tell this place makes everything in house. This is the first time I’ve been able to have hot and sour soup in YEARS, and it’s so darn good that I ordered a large batch to take home.
Their sesame chicken is just *chef’s kiss*. It’s so flavorful, with a little hint of warm spice, and crispy even with it covered in sauce. The sweet and sour anything is presented so well with the sauce on the side so the meat doesn’t get soggy. Just everything in their menu is amazing.
I’m celiac myself, and I have never once gotten sick from here which is saying a LOT. The restaurant itself is incredibly clean, and it truly translates into their food too. The staff is always so welcoming and accommodating, and not to mention so incredibly kind and patient with my toddler.
Even if you’re not gluten free, don’t hesitate to check this local diamond.
This was very tasty. The chili oil was so spicy but had great flavor. All of the dishes we ordered were delicious. Definitely coming back
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wok In Wok Out, a Chinese restaurant that left me thoroughly impressed. One of the standout dishes was their Orange Chicken, which was simply divine. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, while the inside remained tender and succulent. The tangy and sweet orange glaze complemented the chicken beautifully, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that danced on my taste buds.
Another highlight of the meal was the BBQ fried rice. This dish was a delightful medley of flavors and textures. The smoky and savory BBQ sauce elevated the fried rice to a whole new level, making it a standout amongst other Chinese restaurants. The combination of tender chunks of meat, crisp vegetables, and fluffy rice was truly satisfying.
The Hot n Sour Soup was another winner. It had just the right balance of spiciness and tanginess, with generous portions of tofu, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots. Each spoonful was a burst of flavors that warmed me up from the inside out. It was the perfect appetizer to kickstart the meal.
While the food at Wok In Wok Out impressed me, I was disappointed to learn that their Pork Buns were no longer on the menu. These buns were a favorite of mine and their absence was felt. However, the exceptional quality of the other dishes more than made up for it.
Overall, my experience at Wok In Wok Out was exceptional. The Orange Chicken, BBQ fried rice, and Hot n Sour Soup were all outstanding in their own right, showcasing the skill and expertise of the chefs. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking an authentic and memorable Chinese dining experience.
Posting this in review of fried rice only.
I found my ideal fried rice that will make me keep coming back. It was delicious and cooked just how *I* think it should be. This restaurant is absolutely adorable, too! I ordered to-go, but I'll come back to sit down (and order more than fried rice) another time. The gentleman who worked the phone and hostess with very kind, and just made the to-go experience very pleasant making me want to come back and eat in the restaurant. I'm looking forward to more visits here!!
Camein for the lunch specials to compare the restaurant to the many others I've tried.
I tried the drunken shrimp noodles, the beef lo mein, and the general tso chicken.
The drunken noodles were good with a little hint of spicy to give them a nice flavorful kick. The beef low mein was one of the best I've had around here a bit oily but still had tons of flavor as well as the beef. The general tso had quality chicken and good rice but lacked spicy or that flavor I'm used to.
My biggest complaint was the portion sizes compared to other restaurants and it being a couple dollars more here than other places, also the lunch specials not having an egg roll instead of 2 raggons. I like variety, so I had to order a side to try them and they were also very good, by the way.
Overall service and ready time were great, restaurant and restrooms were clean as well.
