We were here in Wenatchee for a conference & this place was so busy & I can see why. The way you eat here is very easy to understand & the concept is amazing. Beware that you pay by the pound! I chose foods I like but also not to heavy like spinach. They weigh the food before it’s cooked & sauce is free along with cashews which was an amazing touch. You don’t have to add noodles but you most certainly can. The staff was very accommodating & even cleaned the grill for my vegetarian friend. I will definitely try this place again.
I haven't been here in 10 years. I loved this place as a kid. The guy making my food, a skinny guy with hair over his face, kept grabbing at his crotch. My bowl was 40 dollars and he dropped at least a tenth of the food. I will never come here again and it breaks my heart.
My second time here, food taste good, fun experience but is easy to add a lot of food, so watch out or you might end up paying a lot. Ours cost $42, $32 and my father in law was wise, his plate weight $22 worth of food. So you add whatever vegetables and noodles you want (they have rice noodles too), make your own sauce (they have some recipes ready for you to follow) and have fun! They will cook your meal for you and vegetables will be firm, with some crunchiness. We ordered ribs from the menu first time we came, was very good, but since my place was costing $32 I didn’t order ribs again. To expensive
Be aware they charge by weight for the meal. Anything can be made delicious if you know how to make a great sauce to food ratio. The service is friendly.
First off I would like to say I have been enjoying their food for almost 20 years. I love it and will drive 45m one way just to eat there. With that being said I am very disappointed in the to go boxes. It is a pricey place and to have your food stick to the cardboard or when you pull it off have cardboard stuck to your food really SUCKS. Please reconsider your boxes.
So, here's the deal. I live 65 miles away, I see the commercials for this place, l decide to hit Wenatchee for the weekend ...Upon entering Wok About, the incredible aroma of Mongolian BBQ, l knew this was gonna be a great dining experience. They did NOT disappoint. The food (a bit pricey but IDC) was spectacular, all the ingredients are fresh, service was wonderful.... I highly recommend! (BTW worth the drive)
This is the first time in about a year we have actually sat down and eaten here. From what it sounds like they will be going back to just take out. Great service, great food. Myself and everybody else would love to have this place open normally ASAP!
Walked in and was directed to go start preparing our bowls. A selection of five bowls that were all exactly the same set in stacks and two of them had food in them already. One had a very large spring onion directly in the center and the other had some sort of uncooked meat stuck to the inside. All of them were filled with water so they had clearly been washed recently but the cleanliness and attention to detail was concerning. It wasn't busy because it was the middle of the day so it's not like the dishwashers didn't have time to just look at the very top bowl of what they're putting out. God knows what was on any of the other bowls underneath. Gross ????
