Tried the deep fried lake perch. Lightly breaded so the flavor of the perch comes thru. Very tasty and nice size pieces. Ordered a side salad which is always super fresh. They only use fresh head lettuce and prep it the same day. Friendly associates and the owner is super nice too! Highly recommended that you give them a try.
Food was great. The waitress was very nice. I didn't want to leave. The big question people should always ask. Would I come here again. Yes I would. I want to come at a latter hour and try their burgers. People make them sound good. And by the way if you ask they will cook with salt. Always a plus in my book. Food comes out better. Putting salt on after the fact just doesn't do it.
This place isn't huge but we had no trouble getting a seat for our family of 5.
Kids had chicken strips & fries, chicken dumpling soup and a breakfast skillet.
My husband and I had a burger and a roast beef melt.
My melt wasn't awful but it wasn't great. Everyone else loved their meals.
Food was super fast and dinner for our family of 5 was $42 plus tip.
Me and my husband were in the area and stopped in the restaurant.. we were greeted by friendly staff and a clean inviting atmosphere.. I ordered the lasagna meal and my husband ordered breakfast which was pancakes bacon and sausage. The food was amazing! I highly recommend. We will be going back.
Very good breakfast, excellent service, generous portions. I hadn't been here since I was a kid. It was Gus and Ann's then, I think. Glad it's still going. We will be back.
Great food BUT don't stop here if you are in a hurry! Very inefficient waitresses. Took forever to get food. Saw people walk out who waited 15minutes and no one took their order!!
The server was very kind and attentive. Portion sizes were good. Bacon very crispy. Gravy for the biscuit had chicken stock in it, not my taste, but good portion size. Clean and very close to HoChunk Wittenberg. Easy to find, and ample parking.
Very friendly people, with a nice menu. Along with reasonable prices. Definitely no complaints. Amber is a rockstar!
