Best WLM Reviews

This hotel was just perfect. Clean. Great room layout. Quiet. Good options for breakfast, pool, hot tub and exercise room. Lovely exterior areas and close to all the attractions for summer. The high five pass, worth every penny. That coaster is awesome!
I've only been there in the summer, and the disc golf is really fun. But the prices are pretty restrictive. I would happily drive down here to use the lift in the summer to go mountain biking, but not for $100 a day.
Business retreat. Excellent customer service. Good food. Our rooms were in the new section. Very spacious and clean. The Main lodge in the original structure is a little musty.
Honestly, this place let me down. It cost 250 for a room that should've been about 90 bucks. The outlet covers were popped out of the walls, and the shower curtain was moldy and gross, and the air conditioner was old and extremely loud. I am so disappointed by this place because I had heard great things. Good thing my reach is in the top 10 percent of reviewers, so others, especially people with children, can read this and STAY AWAY
This place needs a total renovation. I would never pay money to stay there. Visited a friend while they were there and told them they were OUT OF THEIR MINDS. The smells coming in the front door was foul enough to send me running. Don't know what the filmy substance was layered on top of the pool water but that was a HUGE NO for me as well. The freaking rooms are a joke. Linen on beds filthy. Bathrooms OMFG. I hit the road soon as the sun came up and told my friend they should have done the same. Oh and they should flush their water limes as well. Never felt slimy water before going to this place... YUKE
We did not lodge at the resort. We came for the mountain coaster and chipmunk challenge for our kids. Both of these are great and worth the money. I would come back and try some of the other zip lines and activities.
I was very disappointed with the hotel after hearing so many great things over the years. Maybe if I was there in the winter and there for skiing, the hotel becomes secondary for the ski experience and activities, but for me, I don't want to go back. For the record, the conference/ meeting space is great, and that staff was wonderful. The front desk check-in immediately put me on edge. The Marijuana smell in the hallway in a no smoking section was sickening. There were hairs all over some of my pillows, and both bedspreads were dirty, and it just felt so old. I've stayed in very remote hotels and motels in unpopulated areas of the world, and this was like that in terms of utilitarian function, but it is upsetting when it's not clean. Also, be aware that there are no phones in the room, so if you need the front desk or help, you must have a cell phone or walk to the front desk. I know most people do have a phone, but I know some people who don't, and my cell phone didn't have service a few times up there. So it is concerning. The pool was under construction, so that made me sad, but it looks better than most indoor pools in hotels - a true swimming experience. Location is great, in winter I'm sure it is better staffed, so maybe cleaner, and I bet there are many activities and fun to be had. For me, I'll take utilitarian but it must be clean and it wasn't.
My friend and I decided to stop by Wisp to ride the mountain coaster. They dispatched my friend onto the coaster without buckling his seatbelt (we were informed they had to buckle is in, and that we were not to do it ourselves.)
Well, they didn’t. He only noticed near the top, after the first dip of the ride.
This is unacceptable. I have never, in all my years of riding coasters, heard of a coaster of *any* type dispatching unsecured riders. What’s worse is how it was handled when we reported it. They said “we’ll check in.” No apologies, no reports made, no follow up.
They don’t care enough about the life and safety of people riding their rides.
