10’s across the board!
Friendly service, delicious food, great clean atmosphere.
Ordered the Popeye bagels ???? and the potato latkes. Everything was on point. Maybe a bit saltier than normal but edible.
Coffee was excellent for drip coffee.
Will be definitely coming back here.
Wise Sons Jewish Deli is hands-down one of the best culinary gems in the Bay Area! I stopped by last Sunday morning at 10 AM, and the place was already buzzing with energy—a testament to its well-deserved popularity.
The food? Simply incredible. Their pastrami sandwich is a masterpiece—thick, juicy, and bursting with flavor, nestled between perfectly toasted rye bread. And don’t even get me started on their matzo ball soup—it’s like a warm hug in a bowl! For dessert, their babka is a must-try: rich, chocolatey, and utterly divine.
What makes this deli stand out is the blend of authenticity and approachability. The staff are welcoming and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. Plus, the vibe is cozy and nostalgic, with just the right touch of modern flair.
If you’re craving comfort food that’s made with love and steeped in tradition, Wise Sons Jewish Deli is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back soon—probably for that lox bagel calling my name!
We were on our way to the Floorinhacker Auditorium, and Willya Humpinhaller says, I'll treat us for lunch at the Wise Sons Jewish Deli if he can pull out a hat trick at the Wigglewack Tournament. Well, that's a pretty tall order but if anyone can do it he can. Willya, won the first 2 matches and lost the 3rd, so I decided to spring for lunch. I couldn't decide between the roast pork sandwich or the smoked ham, so I told the sandwichtisionist to suprise me. All I can say is WOW! A bigger than life combo...Roast Pork and Smoked Ham! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆
And...Willya...he got a girl sandwich.
I stopped in for lunch, I had the Ruben with pastrami fries and a sparkling water $33. I'm really picky when it's comes to meats, and for a place that claims to make their own pastrami, I do have doubts. Overall, I will not go back. The pictures say it all. What I found hilarious was that here you have a Jewish establishment, but your drinks come from Mexico, including this sparkling water I ordered.
One of the best pastrami sandwiches I have ever had! The restaurant has a cool old school Jewish deli vibe and the food is great. They also have some outdoor seating.
We ordered pick up the only slightly negative thing is it took a while to get the sandwich.
Went in for a late lunch in the afternoon - the turkey club was very good, but the OG Pastrami was fantastic. Returned the next morning and got the breakfast burrito - SO GOOD. Get in here!
Seriously good. Best Pastrami sando in SF. Breakfast chicken sausage sando is solid. Latkes were good as well! Service is friendly and the storefront is cute & clean.
Cute place in the corner. I came here looking for bagels ???? my friend said it tasted like New York style bagels. I was there late evening so I didn't have the option for bagels. But my first time trying the matzo ball soup and it was well made and delicious ???? my sisters had some sandwiches and it looks delicious well made. Check this place out when in San Francisco
