My family and I love wise guys and their awesome flavors. The pizza we had tonight was good as always, but the amount of ranch that we recieved (and paid EXTRA for) is unacceptable. 2 containers were half full, and the other 2 were 1/4 full. This isn't the first time this has happened, but I'd hoped it was an accident. Making people pay extra for a container of ranch only 1/4 the way full is such a scam. I was willing to pay extra for the ranch because I really enjoy it a lot, but not if the restaurant is going to skimp on portion sizes.
The Godfather supreme pizza was, no joke, loaded with so much toppings. Ain’t no one gonna be mad about too many toppings (the bottom right of the pizza wasn’t soggy and nice and cronchy mmm). Get their Fam Bam deal (2 medium pizzas and garlic knots). And if you ever wanted to have a love affair with something, I would suggest cozying with their garlic knots. 10/10. Wise Guys Pizzeria is a solid choice for a pie and knots.
The good: The pizza was very good. They have a nice covered patio with games that kept my children entertained. The young man that was our waiter was very polite and friendly.
The less good: The waiter that was assigned our party of 12 was brand new. Very nice and polite, but wildly under-experienced, especially for such a large group. We needed to help him with the menu, at least 3 of our orders were wrong, my kids drinks and pizza were completely forgotten.
Absolutely delicious food. Our waitress was Dakota and she was fantastic!!! My pasta was some of the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Everyone else loved their pizza. The music playlist was great, it was just too loud lol. We'll be back! So good.
First time there. Pizza was perfect. Mozzarella sticks awesome ????. Free garlic bread knots was a surprise. But the Star of the show was Jordan J. she was outstanding.
Pizza was delicious! We ordered the Don meat pizza and a build-it-yourself with no cheese with thin and thick crust, respectively, and they both were yum. They give you garlic knots as a complimentary appetizer! Whaaaattt?! ????????
The fried mac n cheese though, not our favorite. Good thing we had a coupon to try them for free. Overall, great experience. Looking forward to visiting again.
We went here on a gorgeous Friday night because they had a good outdoor seating area with a pass-through bar. They have a great selection of beers and a ton of variety of food. We started with an appetizer of the Wise Guys Meatballs which were good, but not outstanding. A little dense and I just got the feeling they were simply reheated and not fresh, but that’s my unfounded speculation. Between my wife and teenage son, we ordered a medium Godfather Supreme (basically everything deluxe), and three personals (Metroport Macdaddy, Untouchable, Flamethrower). I liked the Untouchable most. My son had no complaints about The Godfather. The waitress was friendly but on a night where they didn’t seem that busy and at restricted capacity, it did take forty minutes to get the pizzas. The place has a fantastic location, good atmosphere, good variety and choice, and decent enough food. It’s not the best you’ve ever eaten and not the worst. So enjoy your night on the patio with a beer and some food and call it a win.
Great neighborhood pizzeria in downtown Roanoke, Texas. Delicious Italian food with a casual, sports bar type atmosphere. The garlic knots are awesome. I had the Raging Bull Meatball Sub. I recommend it. They also have gluten free pizza.
