I was heard and honestly, that already makes me feel better.
Gonna be running some test and I'm really looking forward to see if we can get to the bottom of my weird symptoms.
P.s. I took my 2 year old with me and they let her draw, I'm so glad she wasn't a bother.
Thank you for the patience.
I highly recommend Caleb and this office! Caleb has wonderful bedside manners and is fantastic with my semi-verbal autistic daughter. For example, at our recent appointment, she was nervous about having her breathing checked. She's familiar with stethoscopes from her play doctor kit at home, and when she saw Caleb's, she knew exactly what to do with it. Caleb patiently allowed her to explore it and "listen to her heart" first. This immediately put her at ease, and she was happy to let him listen to hers afterward. He understands that with my daughter, slowing things down, providing visual explanations, and giving her extra time to process makes all the difference.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to ensure all refills are sent to the pharmacy on the same day as the appointment, along with better communication on why there is a delay. There have been one or two instances where my medication wasn't sent to the pharmacy on the same day, which unfortunately delayed my medication schedule and caused some issues. Overall, we've had a very positive experience and appreciate the care provided.
Lauren was wonderful to take care of me. Was knowledgeable and compassionate with my problem. I usually make appointments and see whoever is working that day. Everyone working at Wise Family Practice Urgent Care is exceptional.
I have used Wise Family Practice Urgent Care for about 3 years now.. No complaints here! Everyone is always very friendly and never a long wait! I seen Caleb Harbin PA today! Once again another great visit! Harbin was great and made sure to answer all questions and was not in any hurry!
BE AWARE! Dr Holland may discharge you from this practice, if you leave a negative review.
Dr McGee was our primary doctor for 15 years, beginning when he was at Wise Medical & Surgical Practice. He always took special care of myself and my children, for more than half of their lives. He is very dear to us.
My daughter submitted a negative review, after numerous rude encounters with front office staff (a common complaint from other patients) and was discharged as a patient. We can no longer see Dr McGee. This was solely Dr Holland's decision. Dr McGee attempted to speak up and change the decision, but Dr Holland refused. I attempted to contact Dr Holland several times to discuss the situation, but was told by staff that due to my daughter's complaints, Dr Holland's decision was final.
We appreciate all of the wonderful care that Dr McGee has given to my family over the years. It will be incredibly difficult to ever find another doctor that we love and trust, as much as we do him.
I brought my son into the clinic for a rash.  I was able to easily schedule an appointment online, but unfortunately we waited over 2 hours to see the doctor even with an appointment. The staff was friendly and the doctor was nice and knowledgeable. Not sure I would recommend this clinic due to the wait time.
I have been using this facility for years. Everyone on staff is amazing and helpful. They truly care about the patients they work with. To have a group of people that have seen you through the worst an into better than life is monumental. I would highly recommend anyone needing services to make this your primary stop. It's the best choice in town. The hours can't be beat by anyone in town for 7 days a week 8am-8pm. You can get in anytime with or without a appointment. They give you 5 star service by telemed an in person.????????‍⚕️????????????????????
As a first time patient and someone in the medical field here are a few things I observed. Front desk lady very friendly. However, when called back promptly, I had to ask her what name did she call and then she pronounced my 1st name as my last and my last name as my 1st.  It should have caught the attention of this person my name was possibly backwards. In the exam room, she took my vitals and when I requested to make sure my name was corrected, she had no acknowledgment or sense of urgency. She said I would be seen shortly and left the room. Lastly, she never introduced herself and I had to ask what my temperature and BP were as it was not offered.
My appointment was at 11:00am and at 11:30 I hadn’t seen a doctor/PA/NP yet and needed to use the restroom. There were only 2 restrooms available for patients, one on each side of the office exam rooms. It looked like my side had at least 8 exam rooms maybe more, but the bathroom was occupied with another patient waiting. Went back to my room and gave it another 10 minutes. Again, it was occupied. Went back to my exam and a few minutes later another lady came in which I presume was the MD, PA or NP. She was very friendly and listened to me explain I was not having a good 1st experience. Unfortunately, she didn’t introduce herself to me either. We discussed my symptoms and she checked my ear, throat and breathing and didn’t provide any feedback other than, your throat looks red. She wrote a prescription for antibiotics and a steroid pack. I filled out my medical history which no one looked at during my visit. I gave this lady my medical history paperwork and she walked me to checkout.
At checkout, the lady informed me my name was corrected in the computer. I was not given any discharge paperwork with any type of diagnosis. I declined the video visit follow up, as I would contact my PCP if  the antibiotics and steroids didn’t clear up my symptoms.
I realize y’all are a busy facility and I know my husband and niece both had a better experience than mine. However, it would be professional to have personnel introduce themselves, share vitals and any other findings verbally and written. Additionally, please keep patients informed when there is a lengthy delay as I waited 45 minutes before being seen. Lastly, it’s hard to fathom with the volume of patients your facility sees there would only be 2 bathrooms available for patients.
