I will never return to this bed bug infested roach hotel. Upon arrival, the furniture is sticky, the tv is broken, and the fridge and microwave are disgusting. The front office is unorganized and rude. It’s a 2 star hotel and it shows. Highly recommend going anywhere else.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at The Winton Inn & Suites, and it was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment I entered the room, I was hit with a strong odor that can only be described as a combination of mildew and stale cigarettes. It was clear that the room had not been properly cleaned or aired out in quite some time. Even though I had to wait for the room to be cleaned after the stated check-in time.
The first thing that caught my attention was the state of the floors; they were dirty and sticky, making me hesitant to walk barefoot. The bed linens were no better – they were musty and full of dog hair.
It is an older facility but meticulously kept up. The owner was so friendly and made sure we were taken care of. The courtyard was a plus and the many bushes were very well maintained. The room was very clean and comfortable.
The lock on 136 is broken you can open it form the outside and the ac doesn't work but the people at the front office was nice and didn't wase our time
When arriving there was no staff at deck, had to call a number left on counter to get someone . After checking in I got put in room upstairs and there was no one there staying parking lot was empty. Room was nasty , microwave was rusty and nasty. Room had hole in walls stains on walls . Bath room rack was falling off. Went to leave and go to another hotel and they said they couldn’t refund my money . So I didn’t have enough to get another hotel. Place was run down in court yard, nothing like the pictures online. Rooms looked like they started to renovate but never finished.asked for receipt and they said it would be emailed, because they system was down . Never got a receipt
Stayed here for a week on business because I read some positive reviews online. Initially thought room was clean, but on closer inspection there was almost an inch of dust on window and door trim, and there was dirt in the corner of the bathroom. My room was not cleaned or trash emptied on the last 3 days of my stay. On the last night of stay, I had to bag up all the trash in my room because the cans were overflowing. There was no one in the office (closed) that night to help.
Stayed here in a pinch, after driving passed the other two hotels in the town, this one seemed to be the most comfortable/safe feeling location traveling with two small kids.
First room was not clean, but the staff was super nice and immediately gave us another room, second room was clean, its not the "Hilton" but its the best option in the town, was clean and safe for the night.
Beds are amazingly comfortable!!! Would def stay again if needed.
It was a family reunion and we were all invited to come along during the Thanksgiving holiday 2019. The drive was only a few hours away from Georgia. Upon arrival to this establishment, I really loved the grounds, especially the flowers. It was very well kept and our room was also very nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable and I was able to sleep pretty well for three nights. I hope to return in the future.
