A little disappointed today…food was great per usual but the portion size just wasn’t the usual. It was a younger lady and the older lady told her to add more to the second platter and I didn’t see what the first order looked like until I got home. You would think if they ran out of sweet plantains they would add more of something but instead it’s way less than usual. Winston’s usually fills up the entire platter and I always rave about their portion sizes but what the heck???
The food slap! Definitely will be back when we’re passing through Allentown Pennsylvania.
I placed an order for pickup and it was good, the portion given could feed me and my two kids easily . The spice I have been craving is there ! The pineapple coconut cake AMAZING !
I ordered the large oxtail with rice, mac and cheese and cabbage.
The oxtail was perfectly cooked and not chewy and full of flavor.
The mac and cheese had the perfect amount of cheese and the noodles were perfectly cooked and seasoned.
Cabbage was crunchy and had the perfect amount of flavor, if your new to allentown or are here and haven't stumbled across Winston's I suggest you stop by and ordered the same thing I did. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
The atmosphere is great and full selection of Jamaican sodas and desserts!

The only thing I will worn you about is they only accept cash but no need to rum across the street as they have a ATM with a low fee of $1.50
I've eaten at Winston's several times. I've had the Jerk Chicken and Curry Goat but today I decided to try the brown stew chicken and man I think I have a new favorite! Food is amazing portions are great and the prices are reasonable.
First time having Winston’s this past weekend 3/13/2021 and the food was delicious ????. My sister catered and the taste was as great as the smells from the kitchen. We will definitely order again soon.
Def was with waiting until today when they opened. Oxtail platter was delicious. Mac n Cheese was pretty good too. He even put a good amount of that oxtail heavy on the rice without me asking him too. Yasssss!!! Thank you to my sis and my niece for the suggestion! Wasn't pricey either. Very fresh. Winston, the owner was real cool. Told him I was from Brooklyn, NY and he stated that I would be "Visiting my sister more when the food hit my belly!" LOL...I think I just might do that.
Very disappointed, I ordered an oxtail dinner and was Barely given 4 oxtail, basically all rice and peas, cabbage and plantains. Ordering off of Uber eats shouldn’t lower the quality of the food. Just because a customer is not present doesn’t mean you give them what you want. Stay consistent all the way around
