On a motorcycle loop the other day we stopped in here to support local businesses. Staff was excellent and friendly. Food (strombolis) were delicious. Place provided an excellent experience.
The waitress was very good, and all I ordered was a burger and onion rings and a water to drink and my bill was over 16$. I have to honestly say that I was always looking forward to eating here when I came to visit friends. After seeing how much the prices have increased, I doubt that I will be coming back.
Do not recommend the beef tips they are overpriced and tough. Several people at our table got them and they weren’t good. Prices have gone up with very little choices of vegetables for sides. If you are wanting a sandwich this is the place but a sit down home food restaurant this isn’t where you want to go. It’s not the same as it use to be! On my ticket was 2 people and it was almost 60.00. Also they charge to use a debit/credit card.
Was a great place to eat, but the quality has gone way down and the prices up. Their famous steak and cheese is just a charred hamburger that has been chopped up now, not what you see in pictures. I don't go here as often, but Thursdays are still good for chicken and dumplins.
We were there for lunch on February 25, 2022. As always the food was great and the server was awesome!
I had the salt and pepper catfish with mashed potatoes, corn and corn muffin with water. My friend had a cheese and pepperoni pizza with Mt. Dew.
The food here is really good and the serving sizes are very large.
Something I have to keep in mind. My friend and I like to split the philly cheese steak sub.
I had one egg, sausage, grits, and biscuits. My friend had the philly cheese steak omelet, also with biscuits.
So we combined the leftovers and had them later.
From the moment we walked in, the flooring and carpet was dirty and the smell was unpleasant. Bowls for salad bar appeared dirty, salad not fresh. Chicken sandwich was tough and dry. Friends like this place but we did not. Way over priced for quality of food.
Their menu has a little bit of everything. The hamburger steak never disappoints. Pizza, steak subs and cheeseburgers are all good too. They have weekday lunch specials as well that are great.
