Best WLM Reviews
I had the Thai Peanut Chicken Sandwich. It was pretty good, but maybe not quite as good as I was expecting. I was hoping for more smoked flavor and maybe a little more spice.
My wife had fish, which she said was good, but not spectacular.
The restaurant was clean, everyone, including our server Ebony, was very friendly to us. Ebony checked on us regularly and was happy to bring refills and anything else we asked for.
Walked in and Ordered one of the season specials the Black Forest ham sandwich along with a drink. Food came out in a reasonable time but was dripping oil from the sandwich bun so bad I could only take 2 bits bacon was undercooked aswell. I don’t like leaving bad reviews. The beer was cold and good along with the whiskey. Would try again and hope for a better result.
*** They took off the sandwich from my bill and apologized gave me a big soup to go that was really good. The white sauce compliments the sausages and onions and is something I would have gotten a whole bowl of!***
I am so disappointed, angry & embarrassed in regards to my 50-Bone Rib Party Platter I ordered from the Winking Lizard location in Eastgate.
I previously ordered a 50-Bone Party Platters to go from the Winking Lizard, Central Parkway, in Beachwood, OH, for my birthday celebration.
The Ribs did not have sauce on them, but 2 bottles of sauce were provided. But, I'm glad they didn't because the rub on the ribs was delicious! They were the best ribs I've had in a LONG time.
With the excellent service in Beachwood & the delicious ribs, I ordered the 50-bone rib platter again for Labor Day as my contribution to the celebration.
I had raved about how good they were & everyone was looking forward to them.
The Ribs I received from Eastgate were NOTHING like Beachwood's. They didn't have the rub, so the flavor was off. They were not uniformly cut, & looked like they were cut with a chainsaw. The 1st picture is how they were supposed to look, & the 2nd picture is what I received.
The presentation was awful, & even had greasy BBQ fingerprints & smudges on the lid. Everyone was looking at me like, "This is what you were raving about?"
$73.00 is a lot to pay to NOT receive what you were promised.
I won't be back to the Eastgate location.
It's always a great place to go, I love the spiciest wings. My server Sarah was nice and attentive. Good food and perfect service. ????
The January spicy menu was the best
I usually love Winking Lizard, this was my first time at this location. Ordered to go and this burger was burnt beyond well done (ordered medium), and barely had any toppings. Inedible.
Tiny amount of bleu cheese, barely any mushrooms, no bacon, burnt patty, no pickle, under cooked fries. Went in the garbage.
I’ve had so many good experiences with winking lizard. This specific location is right up the road from our Ohio house. I’ve visited plenty of times. However the last visit was a little chaotic to say the least. They decided a clam bake during the Ohio state game was a good idea. They were under staffed for the event and we did end up waiting over an hour for our food. But the worst part of the whole visit was when my wife asked to talk to a manager. The GM came over immediately with an attitude. Walked away from us mid sentence and when he returned rolled his eyes at us while trying to explain our frustration. He was very dismissive to all of complaints. We ended up having to take all the food to go because we had to return to our Pennsylvania home. A little empathy would have gone a long way.
First time here, and everyone was beyond polite. Everything was clean, and the food was delicious.
"Fire in the Hole" wings will humble you. The Trinidad Scorpion peppers are only one component of the sauce. It's mixed with a dry seasoning loaded with ghost peppers and other assorted hot peppers. The rest of our food was also probably great, but it was hard to tell after burning my face off. Can't wait to go back!
