Must visit if in the Cleveland area. Several locations, fast and courteous service, great atmosphere, with consistent good food. Seasonal specials boast local trends and flavors. Cannot not find a drink that will satisfy your thirst.
Alright, I Really Enjoyed the burgers. They are big! But the service was not all that charming. One of the employees was just snoozing in the corner. Mabey he didn’t sleep well. ????♂️But otherwise, amazing appetizers and meals.
We normally frequent the Mayfield Hts location once a week, but because we were in the area, we stopped in Beachwood. It's something about this locations wait staff that's off. Our water Matt came to the table immediately off, no hello, just right to what you want to drink. We order. We always request for our fries to be cooked extra crispy at Mayfield. They always come out perfect. Our food was delivered but the fries were cooked as normal. We requested for them to be cooked extra crispy. Waiter said they couldn't but later came back with a plate of greasy odd smelling overly cooked fries. Had to ask for a refill, just not what we are used to at Winking Lizard. Maybe this location is managed differently. Not coming back to this location ever again.
Great prices for amazing beverages. Hard to find bourbons and beers were plentiful. The food was just ok but everything else was great.
My family and I have been eating at various Winking Lizard locations for over 35 years. We've always enjoyed the Winking Lizard food and atmosphere. During football season we meet here at the Winking Lizard on Sundays to watch football and eat food. Always a great variety of food on the menu plus seasonal specialty items as well. Ribs, sandwiches, wings, burgers ... you name it! Plus a huge selection of beers and other libations. Waitstaff and employees are always nice, pleasant and eager to make our visit enjoyable! I hope you visit the Winking Lizard restaurants and enjoy it as much as we do. Thanks for reading ✌️
I go to Winking Lizard a lot and the food is always solid and consistent. Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of being taken care of by Gary. Gary was knowledgeable about the menu, extremely friendly, patient and very efficient. Our cups were never empty and our special requests on our food items were spot on. The beachwood location was already my favorite Winking Lizard location, but Gary made it even moreso. My friend who used to prefer the Independence location has now shifted her choice to the Beachwood one. Thanks Gary!
The Winking Lizard is a sports bar in Beachwood that we visited recently. The food was pretty good! We tried a burger and a pizza and both were tasty. I especially liked their in-house bbq sauce. Our waitress was pleasant but a salad we ordered as an appetizer wasn’t served until we were just about done with our meal. I tried to order a drink too but it was “out”. Overall it was a good experience and we would probably eat there again.
Fun vibe, amazing fries! I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, which was just ok. I didn't taste any buffalo sauce at all. But the amazing fries made up for it. They also have an extensive drink menu, which is nice.
