Best WLM Reviews

“Wingzup was an amazing experience! The wings were incredibly delicious, with an impressive variety of sauces to choose from. There’s something for every taste, whether you like your wings mild or packed with heat. The location had a great vibe, making dining there even more enjoyable. The fries were also outstanding, with a wide range of options, including sweet potato fries and classic French fries, all perfectly seasoned. Although our service took a bit longer than expected, the food quality more than made up for it. Every bite was worth the wait, and we quickly forgot about the delay. I’m definitely coming back for more! Highly recommended for wing and fry lovers.”
Ordered the fried mushrooms, waffle fries, sweet potato fries, Original, Country, and Golden style wings. The mushrooms were huge and ok. Both the waffle fries and sweet potato fries were very good. Nice simple fries made great. I wasn't a big fan of the Country style wings. I thought the batter was light and the taste was off. The Original were tossed in hot sauce. The wings were really good. The hot is HOT. I could taste the heat after the first wing. By far, my favorite were the Golden wings. I did dip them, but mostly ate them as is. The place had a great vibe if you're a sports fan. The service was great. Our waitress was friendly and checked on us regularly. I would come back for the Golden wings for sure.
If you can watch 10 TVs at once- this is your place. If you want to make 7+ decisions to order wings specifically made for you- this is your place. If you want your waiter to never be more than 7 steps from your every need- this is your place. If you want a full bar and plentiful beer menu- this is your place.
Seriously you decide the style of wings the sauce of wings, the number of wings…no wrong decisions can be made its all delicious.
Yesterday afternoon, I went to Wingzup for the second time. Since our first first, this amazing spot has been voted best wings in Austin. There's no surprise here. The wings are quite large compared to other wing joints, their sauces are made in house, and the staff is the most helpful I've ever seen. Thanks for yet another amazing meal!
Tried this spot as a result of seeing it was voted best wings in ATX.
Let me start off by saying it's a bar, not a restaurant, so don't bother asking for a table if you see a seat take a seat.
Now let's get straight to it, the wings were hands down the best wings I've had anywhere in at least 10 years. The last time I had wings this good was in a bar similar to this, and I had to wait until a specific cook was working to get wings like this.
Do not pass up the opportunity to try this place out. I had the spicy lemon pepper and sweet chili.
Can't go wrong with the wings here as the cooking variety is what distinguishes this place. That, and the numerous flavors of wing sauce. My favorite wing spot in Austin. The sides, like the waffle fries, mushroom, pickles, are perfectly battered and fried. Love the fact they provide a bucket for the wing bones
Thank me later
really good hot wings. the taste and the service are great. nice and comfy place to hang out with friends.
Charles. Read this as a glowing review about him. He was extremely attentive to us Texas newcomers and truly made us feel welcomed. I highly recommend asking for him and tipping him well. He took his time explaining the menu to us and did everything in his power to make us feel comfortable.
I was always told to provide constructive criticism in between positive feedback. So, I’ll save this area to say, I would’ve given this restaurant five stars if all of the staff members were half as amazing as Charles. Our first interaction with Cody was awful. He was very rude and dismissive. All I have to say is steer clear of him. If he was the only person we interacted with, we would’ve walked away. This highly recommended, heavily awarded, establishment deserves the representation and Cody isn’t it. He told us to our face that he would not serve us after waiting patiently for 20 minutes to have a seat and only served Hispanic patrons moving forward. Hopefully he’ll be replaced sooner than later by someone with better character. So, shoot your shot, the GM seems like a cool guy.
But let’s talk food! The mozzarella sticks were yummy. Charles recommended the waffle fries and they were yummy too. I was craving a burger so my husband and I split one. The wings are for sure the star of the show. We did the 3 wing/3 sauce sampler. It was amazing. We had our wings Original and Country. We had gogujang, jalapeño ranch, and golden. They were all delicious. Highly recommended.
