I visited Wingstop hoping to give it a second chance after a less-than-stellar first experience. Sadly, my second visit confirmed that this location has no intention of improving. The same disappointing service occurred again, and it's truly unacceptable.
Upon arriving, we were the only customers in the restaurant. However, one of the employees spent more time on his phone than attending to us. He casually made food for himself, completely disregarding us, and then went on his lunch break without a word. No explanation, no apology, no acknowledgment that we had been waiting. It took 25 minutes for our two simple meals to be prepared. The lack of communication or basic courtesy made the wait even more frustrating.
This isn’t just about slow service—it’s about a complete lack of professionalism. The absence of any social skills from the staff is astounding. When a customer walks into an empty restaurant, the expectation is prompt service, or at the very least, an acknowledgment of their presence.
I thought the first time might have been a fluke, but this second visit has confirmed a clear pattern. Shame on them for their poor service, and shame on me for giving them another chance. I won't be making that mistake again.
So I originally had a decent review of this place, but that's only because there were no other alternatives for wings in the south. Now that I've had actual chicken wings again, I can give this place a legitimate review.
In a few words, Wingstop sucks. Order the hottest sauce for the wings and your wings will taste like spicy mud. Order "normal" sauce and want more sauce? Lol sorry, none for you. It's like this location is on a shoestring budget and can't afford the extra quarter cup of sauce to put on your wings. When you order a "wet" sauce on your wings, they shouldn't be bone dry when you receive them.
Not to mention, Wingstop's sauce is just bad. Their normal sauce is about 95% butter.
Oh you want a tip when I'm picking up my food order? That's cute that you'd ask before I even pick up my food! Who knows what happens to the food of customers who don't tip before they receive their food. I'd basically be subsidizing the owner's inability to pay the employees a decent wage at this point. I'm not receiving a service, so I'm not tipping.
Now that I actually have a source for decent wings here, I won't be eating at Wingstop again.
Absolutely the worse service ever. We came in about to order guy picks up phone in middle of order. Then he has to go get someone who got on his phone. He asked repeatedly to have her sign so he could take our order. We had to wait 15 minutes. Then it took another hour for our food to get ready while 20 people have already come in and got their food before we did. Was not happy at all. By the time we actually got our food it was cold and we had to reheat it up at the house. I will never go to this place or any wing stop ever again. Just rediculous.
Every time we go to this location the food is always wrong. Young kids working who can careless about providing you the correct food. No one reads here and then always offering you to come back and for it to be remade. I cannot get my time back nor the gas money. Insane
The wait is a little long but well worth it. Get the hot lemon pepper and regular lemon pepper. I've gone to 5 other wingstops and for some reason this location makes them the best.
Don't come to this place if you want good food and service. Store closes at 12 am. They started cleaning up and moping from 11 pm while making food. The same guys who were preparing the food were also cleaning the floor ????. Took them 30 minutes to make just one Chicken which I ordered. That also was colder than the winter in Canada. Food was burned to crisp.
Follow up: I shared my negative experience at the Bryan store on 8/2. Surprisingly, the very next day at 9:36 am on 8/3, General Manager Richard Ruiz personally reached out to me. I was taken aback by his prompt response and genuine concern. Mr. Ruiz displayed professionalism, kindness, empathy, and a strong commitment to rectifying the situation. What impressed me the most was his willingness to take responsibility for his team's actions, even though he was not present at the time of the incident. He expressed gratitude for my feedback and assured me that he would address any issues to prevent similar occurrences in the future. Mr. Ruiz exemplifies exceptional leadership and management skills. The food service industry is notoriously challenging, with long hours and often underappreciated staff. It is easy to overlook the hard work put in by employees and the countless customers served daily. However, Mr. Ruiz's proactive approach in reaching out to me speaks volumes about his dedication to customer satisfaction. I visited the store on 8/4 to collect my order, which Mr. Ruiz personally prepared for me. I had the pleasure of meeting him in person and expressing my gratitude for his efforts in resolving the issue. I hope that corporate recognizes Mr. Ruiz's exemplary customer service and acknowledges his commitment to retaining customers. Thank you, Mr. Ruiz, for going above and beyond to ensure a positive experience for me. ????
Absolutely slowest service I’ve ever received. The front employee was nice and accommodating as she could be, but service was so slow I ordered almost an hour ahead and it was still not prepared when I had gotten there.
