I’ve been coming to this location for years. Consistently great experience and wings. Couple of times blue cheese and celery has been forgotten but they make up for it on the occasion it happens!
Tori is a great asset and always makes sure my order is correct. Overall very friendly staff and consistent service.
Food was great but my interaction with the staff at pickup was horrible. I walked in stated my full name, stated what I ordered down to the sauce. Gave them my phone number and 4 last digits on the card used to place the order. The store refused to give me my order. because I didn't have a receipt or confirmation number. I did not have my phone to show proof of purchase. and they gave me a hard time stating it was their store policy and could not release the order to me. The employee i first came in contact with told me you would be surprised who comes in here and knows the name and what the customer ordered. I have been ordering from Wings over for 7 years. and anytime I pick up my order I just give them my name and what I ordered. and they would hand it to me. Today was such a hassle. GM stated this has always been our policy. And I said I've been picking up orders from here for the past 7 years and not once has any staff member asked for a receipt or confirmation other than my name and what I ordered. Including the staff member who was asking for it. Moving forward I told the manager I would show proof of purchase. To avoid any future negative interactions. The GM in good form gave my daughter a cookie for the inconvenience. That was very professional of him. I understand it's a policy. and they were doing their job. but for a 7 year customer to be treated like I just walked in to their establishment with my daughter and wanted to take someone's order. Was disappointing and hurtful. My order being the ONLY order at the establishment. Is what made it so much more disappointing. No one in the store but my daughter myself and Wings over staff. It was just a perfect storm of the employee's General Manager being there. Me not having my phone on me to show proof of purchase. (my phone was on my seat in my car the whole time by the way) But Moving forward I will make sure to show proof of purchase at Wings Over. And any other customer please make sure to bring in your phone to show proof of purchase. Because they will NOT give you your order. Even if you give your name, and what you ordered.
The food was great . Came out fast after ordering but what I appreciate the most is the great service from Cyn. She was patient and helpful because I couldn’t decide and she recommended her fave. Even after I got my food she made the effort to ask me how everything looks when it came. 10/10 would definitely come back and recommend. Might even bring the rest of my family to come try. ❤️????
We love wings over! The garlic parm and honey mustard are the best. A classic from our college days that has passed the test of time.
Wanted to give the young lady by the name of Cynthia who took my order over the phone must say she was the most pleasant and patient person when I was placing my order she went over and beyond her expectations. Thank you for having such a great employee. .
Parking is a bit tricky sometimes but the food is always amazing here! Love them
Wings over West Hartford is a great chicken wing place! I was up in Hartford for the week working and decided to get wings from them on national chickenwing day. I was not disappointed! The wings were meaty, flavorful and hit the spot! The fries were on point as well. Price was actually really good for the value of what i got. I will say I knew WOWH was a good place when they were busy and I had to wait. No complaints from me. Staff was friendly and waiting area was clean as well!
Waited 25 minutes for my wings which was an 8 pack tender meal with fries. I come yo find out I was given 6 instead of the 8 I paid 24 dollars for! To top it all off they were tasteless. Barely even seasoned, not worth it at all. Have given this place multiple chances to get it right….Will not be returning! I encourage you all to go to BIRDCODE 1 minute up the road for better chicken
