Best WLM Reviews
Had a great experience for lunch yesterday. Thursday Boneless wings are $0.79 ea. Their breading on the wings had a great seasoning, and the mild sauce was good. Also, nice size so you get your money worth. There is no extra charge for celery or ranch.
We have tried the last 3 times with horrible service. We tried one last time tonight and nope! Took 15 minutes to get drinks even though we were maybe 1 of 3 couples in there. Ordered chicken sandwich with blue cheese which we never got. Hubby ordered burger with grilled onions nope. Got grilled mushrooms instead. Friend joined us and ordered a burger with bacon. Came with no bacon. Asked for a box like 3 times before we got. I can understand if it’s busy but it wasn’t. She brought our bill without asking if we were ready to cash out. As a server myself I don’t normally leave bad reviews because I understand BUT there was no reason we should have received the service we did when it was that slow.
I got the chicken sandwich with fries, and it was delicious! The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. What I enjoyed about the atmosphere is the tv volume was down so we could converse not like other places where the TV is so loud that it impossible to have a convo. Would go again!
We got carry out tonight and the wings and fries were perfect! Brought them home to enjoy while we watched the IUgame and was all tasty! Thank you Wings etc. on Dupont.
The food is good but there is clearly not enough staff to accommodate the patrons. There was one person working the entire bar and bar rail. The service was severely sub par. We waited close to 10 minutes for silverware after our food was delivered to our table because the waitress was so busy. Both of our meals came out wrong. An order of wings with the wrong sauce and the burger didn’t have the correct toppings- not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things but annoying when every other part of the experience was sub par. It seems like hiring more staff would solve the problem.
Ordered food for pickup that would be ready in 20 minutes. On arrival I was told that half my order wouldn't be available because it was out of stock.. okay, quick diversion but then it proceeds to take another 25 minutes of waiting (the food switch did not justify the time of wait) to have my order ready which was odd seeing as there was only one customer at the bar and 5 staff members around.. a phone call would have sufficed since I am required to have it with the order. Please do better.
I have not been to this location in over 10 years. Came in around 12pm on a Sunday. Not crowded at all. Lots of tvs.
Ordered the jalapeño burger with fries and it was awesome. Came out hot and fresh. 34oz beer was $6.
Will be back. Thank you.
UPDATE: you asked me to email you and I did but your email address was rejected. I'm trying to help guys. You're in a plaza near my house - I'm hoping for your success but you gotta work for it.
FIRST POST: Honestly, after eating at several of these restaurants around town, this one felt lacking. The place was 1/3 full on a Friday night, and the food tasted like it had been deep fried in oil that needed changed a couple days ago. Wings were pretty good, but the loaded french fries were gross. Bathroom was dirty and unfortunately, there were too many things that could have been improved easily.
