Best WLM Reviews
Well, it's been 2 years, so it looks like I can do another review on Wings Etc.
I love that this location is on the north side of Springfield. And it is a great place to watch a football game.
The food is tasty and priced about right. (The kitchen had a couple of mistakes, therefore the 4 stars above.) But my serrver Renee was great! She ALMOST pulled the ratings up to 5 stars all by herself.
I'm glad Wings Etc. is in Springfield. I'll definitely be back.
The wings themselves where phenomenal. Crispy but not to heavy of breading, and good quality chicken. The sauces they had were just as good if not better than Bdubs. The fried pickles were also very tasty. I would reccomend trying them if you're in the area.
McG was great, but everything else needs work. The hours on the front appear to have been changed with a red crayon. Either they close at 12, or the red crayon must say 11. At 10:15 an order was placed for food. At 10:20 the bartender was informed that the food didn't get made because the kitchen was closed. At 10:35 the food came out, missing the sauce and I had to send it back because there was no bacon on loaded tots. The owner really needs to look into what is happening when he isn't there. The last time we were at wings, etc the wings were grey and the skin was absolutely disgusting. I will not only not recommend friends do not visit, but I will recommend they go to any other wing place in town. When we got there the music from the kitchen was so loud you couldn't even tell there was music playing in the restaurant until finally someone noticed and made them turn it off. There are good people that work here, but they are in losing battle.
The four who had boneless had tough, overdone wings. The three who had bone in were raving about how big and juicy theirs were. All sauces were tasty. Onion rings and fries were delicious. Service was excellent.
We went here for the first time today. Yes it's in a Sunday but it was around 330-4 pm. Was seated fairly quickly. They wasn't real busy. We sat for about ten minutes before the server ally came to the table. Than it was about 20 minutes before ally came back to take the order. Ally brought the food out dropped it off and we never seen her again. My kids filled their own drinks up. She was not concerned about weather or not we was ok. We waited to get a Togo box and had to ask someone else. Than ally the server came out just in time to collect the payment than when she brought the change back she told us she didn't have any changes to give us. Which was only 57 cents but still. Food was amazing and the guys in the kitchen and behind the bar was amazing. I definitely will go back but she can't not ever be my server again. Thanks for the great food.
Had an early dinner date here today for the first time. Our server Noah was really nice and attentive! I got the fish and chips with the jalapeno poppers. My husband ordered the cowboy burger and pretzel bites for the table. We both got curly fries as well. Everything was hot and tasted amazing! My fish was a lot bigger than i anticipated, i ended up having to take some home. The beer cheese is delicious and I would definitely eat here again.
I enjoyed all the food I had here.
I started with the pretzel with beer cheese and that was excellent!
Then I tried 4 flavors and both boneless and bone-in wings. Both were very good.
I had the Mahalo-Que, Hot-Honey-Garlic, Tweener and wango sauces in order from mild to hot. They were all amazing flavors with my favorite being the Hot-Honey-Garlic.
Service was fast and friendly and kept the drinks full.
I placed a to go order for a 10-piece traditional wings and mild sauce. With blue cheese and half carrot half celery as a side.
They were a bit busy so service was slow, that one poor girl in the back was getting run ragged. Waited for maybe 10 or 15 minutes for my order. Nothing too wrong there. I get home and there is no blue cheese anywhere in the bag. But I do have packets of ketchup and some wet naps thrown in there apparently.
Included is a picture of some of the oddest looking hot wings I've ever seen. They look like barbecue wings and the taste is somewhere between barbecue and hot. Either way this place is not worth a return visit.
