I wanted to try this chicken restaurant. I had never heard of them. We got 20 wings, some onion rings and ranchero tots. Omg the ranchero tots were amazing! I’ve never had anything like it. The onion rings were crispy. The wings had excellent flavor, just a little dry. Overall, I enjoyed all of it.
Nice chill spot in Del Rio. Stopped in town for some business and decided to give this spot a go instead of the "other" wing spot still open late hours. I'm glad that I did, as the food was flavorful and it's a sports bar, so you get to enjoy a game and adult beverages.
We waited an hour for our food after arriving. My celery sticks had a dead fly on it. My sprite had a dead fly in the drink, where a wing and a leg was shown. I lost my appetite after that. I wouldn’t recommend or return here. ????????????
Wings and Rings is a family sports bar. TV’s every where and all kinds of sports on to watch. Very loud atmosphere. We started with the pretzel bites. Yummy! Soft pretzel bites that I liberally coated with a slightly spicy but well seasoned queso dip. Highly recommended. I ordered 5 bone in wings in Sweet Thai Chili sauce. Ordered medium heat level. Theses were extremely good. Crispy and hot! The fries were disappointing. Delivered lukewarm to the table. Very frustrating. I overall enjoyed my meal and will return.
Had lunch here today. Wings were excellent. Not only was my waitress Shallome friendly but absolutely gorgeous as well. Great service.
Horrible experience, restrooms are nasty, the appetizer came after the meal, and they had a DJ blaring music as if it were a night club. Could not enjoy a meal and conversation because the music was so loud and not appropriate for children. Never again…
A bit on the pricey side. Reminds me of Buffalo wild wings with the decor. But that's pretty much where the similarities end. The coconut mixed drink is awesome but I will say to ask for light ice because after I drank it there was 80-90 percent full cup of ice left. The fries were awesome. Best fries I've had in awhile, garlic aoli? Spelling is bad probably but awesome fries. The wings were bites, not wings. I should have asked for wings. Not a personal fan of bites or nuggets. That's just a personal preference again, some or most people may love them as they have no bones. They were still good as the sauce was pretty good they used on them. If I were to compare other wing places though, the price point is a bit high and the wings aren't quite as tasty but maybe I should order a different flavor. Don't get me wrong though, the wings were still good. Just in comparison, not as good as other places but this is del Rio. How many won't joints are there? Next time I'll try the grilled with another flavor I had the garlic. One less star because the price point and the sauce. One other great note is their to go containers are more durable than other places as they are full plastic with clicking lids not styrofoam. The service was also excellent.
I always check the timing on how long it takes to be attended they sat us down said a server would be with us shortly. Only about 5 tables so not busy. 8 minutes passed by , another tables was seated they were attended within the minute. 11 minutes max we were seated still no one helped us out. Talk about first time experience. Pretty disappointed.
