Best WLM Reviews
This casual spot is perfect for having a few beers, chatting, or watching sports. They serve some of the best chicken wings and breaded shrimp I’ve ever had. The service is very friendly, and the atmosphere is highly recommended.
HORRIBLE SERVICE! And to the girl who hung up in my face, I would love for that same energy to be given when I come in person. MY CHILDREN ATE THIS UNDERCOOKED MEAT AND THE ORDER WAS WRONG! My order was extremely late as well. The manager is also rude. Not even worth one star at that. I understand the day may be rough due to the storm but don’t hang up in a customer’s face after they paid damn near $100 for trash food.
I have been anticipating trying this restaurant since moving to Tampa. Little did I know...
Let me say first off, our server was very friendly. I have no issue with her at all.
However, from the second we walked on, I wad put off. The smell alone, all through the venue and into the bathroom, had a funk smell. Like old grease or something. And then, the uniforms. *insert eye roll*
The husband had breaded wings and said they were good. I had "naked". "Flash fried"?? Seems like they fry for a long time. It created dry, tough meat. I didn't want to complain as the server didn't bat an eye at them so maybe that's how they are served ? Most likely won't return.
I hadn't been to WingHouse for a while. I randomly had a taste for their Dallas sandwich and headed over for a to go order. When I got home, I thought to myself it looked funny. Then, I bit into it and realized the sandwich was saturated in butter. Idk if they reheated an old sandwich or what, but I know I've never had it like that before. The bread is toasted, yes, but not soaked in butter. I couldn't allow myself to finish. It was pretty disappointing. ☹️ On another note, the fries were good and the gentleman that handed me my order was kind.
1st time in WingHouse and last one. One of my friends invited us with our family to this place after a long day to take some beers and something to eat. What a horrible experience. I love to get shrimps. Our friend requested chicken wings, and it was ok for them, but our shrimp was so spicy, and I tol the lady, PLEASE I don't like anything spicy, if this is spicy I'll take something else and she said it's not spicy. When this shrimp came to our table, it was really spicy, and I hate the food like that. Talk to the manager, and he said that they cooked the shrimp like this. He didn't take a detail with us. He didn't offer to exchange that dish. Horrible and expensive experience. Not anymore, 1st and last time. I feel cheated.
If I could give this place zero stars I would definitely do it, me and my TBB employees went here for our pre-training camp meal. First let's start with the food I ordered the steak quesadillas (it was chopped steak...it should say that on the menu as that is not the same as steak and they had green peppers and raw jalapeños with weird romaine lettuce just thrown in front) my one friend got the burger and the other one got a pizza, which was supposed to be thin crust but came out looking big and bulky. We will now discuss the service there maybe was 8 people in the whole place it took over 10 min to get an iced tea, the ketchup was empty on the tables...we had to walk around going table to table to find one --- THEN here is the icing on this ..when my friends got their bills the amount was $4 difference then on the menu, example $7.99 for the pizza charged $11.99 on the bill the burger was the same way, they tried to say it was because of the fries but they came with the burger - we asked to speak to the manager and we were told he was on a conference call. We had a call time of 530p, it was 5p and we asked to see someone at 435p... we could not be late, finally a manager comes and says oh well we got new menus we just haven't put them out yet. Really??? Yeah....I have never heard of that before...so if you are going here, you better check your bill...I only wonder how many people don't (if you are drinking I guess you probably wouldn't notice) $4 per ticket adds up... extremely dissapointing.
Good was very mediocre but not high priced. It's what you would expect from a typical bar and grill. Boneless wings were a bit sad so was pizza . Pizza was what you would expect from a frozen one. Came for happy hour drinks and they were pretty good . $6 well drinks. Pleasant atmosphere and bartender/waitress.
I did a takeout order and was I disappointed. I ordered a variety to try different things: chicken sandwich, chocolate cake, the boneless chicken wings, and the everything pizza. This place has cardboard like dough for pizza, frozen pizza has better taste. The chicken "wings" were like nibblets, the chicken sandwich has a literal chicken breasts on the bun, not trimmed or cut to size. The slaw that came was alright, but was too tangy. The chocolate cake was really dry and not good overall. I was not a fan. Don't plan on trying this place again.
