This is an interesting place. Things are a little different than at most hotels. So far as I can tell, this is a one off, not part of any national brand. As such, unique. The property boast a lot of value for the money. Very nice pool area, clean rooms, a very nice lobby and breakfast room.
I would have given 5 stars if not for the fitness room (yes, I am the 1% that actually use this). The relatively small room has potential, but there are issues. The dumbell set is super nice. Beyond this, not much else is. The cable machine is broken, one of the weight stacks can not be adjusted. The treadmill was out of order. The elliptical technically worked, but the resistance was broken and stuck on the easiest setting. I didn't try the stair machine. There was no remote to turn on or operate the TV. No fan. There was a spot for gym towels, but no towels. Nothing to clean and wipe down the machines with either. Too bad they can't do better than this.
The breakfast is pretty good and very southern. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal, waffles. But, not a single piece of fruit to be found, and few healthy options.
In spite of the short comings, I would consider staying again due to the value. But, I would investigate and pay a little more at a neighboring property for a working fitness room.
Great beds! Fine hotel for a quick stay. Staff was lounging on the foyer furniture, kind of strange. Furniture is beat up and floors have stains. BUT! The mattress is great and we just need a quick sleep on our road trip. Better than a motel. Fair price and nice enough. Thank you!
Hotel was very clean!! I was comfortable letting my young children play on the floor because the whole room felt clean. Breakfast was delicious with eggs, sausage, waffles and biscuits and gravy, as well as other continental items. Desk staff was super helpful, we came in late at night with 2 tired kids and he was patient and kind as we waited for our 3rd party reservation, we made in the parking lot, to come through on the computer. Hope to return to use the pool and ping pong table!
My wife and I decided to take a day away from normal life and decompress at this location for the night. Beds were clean and the room was spacious enough for the 2 of us. Modest indoor pool that was 3ft-5ft. Was a bit chilly for the time of year, but nothing that wasn't doable within a few minutes of commitment. Had an issue with our jacuzzi tub not holding water, but the issue was well received by management and was able to get the subject resolved. Would recommend if you're near Elizabethtown and needing a place to rest. Conveniently located near many restaurants and fast food places as well.
We stayed for 2 nights arriving around 10:00 pm. Staff was very friendly room was wonderful and the surprise jetted tub was a bonus very relaxing! The breakfast was delicious. Will absolutely stay again.
The staff at the front desk greeted you warmly as soon as you came in the door. They very quickly got us settled into our room and made certain we were comfortable. The room was very nicely appointed nothing real fancy. The room was maintained well and was very clean. I did get a chance to talk to the housekeeper Tiara, I believe she takes great pride in doing an excellent job. Many thanks.
Going in, our expectations were high based on all the reviews. The room was clean however, it had a strong smell of mildew. We would have requested a room change but the hotel had no other rooms available. We found the source of the mildew smell. Apparently, the shower has a leak because the floor on the other side of the wall between the bathroom and the bed was soaking wet. We had sat a bag there which completely saturated the bag and ruined some clothes for the trip because they smelled of mildew. The pool area was nice and the pool was a good size compared to some hotels we stayed at recently. They claim the pool was heated but it didn't seem that way. The water was cold, the room had AC turned on, so we were freezing the entire time we were in the pool. We are big on swimming so for us to only swim for 45 minutes let's you know it wasn't enjoyable. We only stayed that long because the kids still had fun. I didn't have the breakfast they provided so can't really offer and review on that. Not the best experience but certainly not the worst.
Called last minute for a room around 9pm for that night and was welcomed with kindness. All staff we encountered during our stay were friendly and asked how we were doing. Breakfast was good, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy and non hot items. Loved the apple juice they had. Room was clean, pool area looked very nice and clean, water was a bit on the colder side so we didn't go in.
