Best WLM Reviews

My husband and I ordered a to go order and he went inside to pick it up and it wasn’t ready yet so he waited a few minutes then we got the food and headed home which is less than 5 minutes down the road. I sat down to eat my Blackened Chicken Alfredo which is usually wonderful: which the noodles were cold, bread was great but the chicken looks to be old and rubbery.
VERDICT: An excellent stop for a good lunch of boneless wings, bottomless fries, and a soft drink.
FOOD: The boneless wings (called "sticky fingers" here) are excellent. The breading is present with a crunch but thin so as not to overwhelm the chicken. The meat here appears to be actual stripped chicken breast, retaining its "grain" instead of the ground chicken standard of other restaurants. The Cajun garlic butter balanced the deep buttery flavor with bits of spice mingled in the mix. Together with the breading, it had a cohesive flavor, preventing the boneless wings pitfall of being a sauced nugget (feels like a product dipped in a sauce instead of a singular, balanced recipe). The fries were excellent as well, with a sharp crisp yet not being saturated in oil. The whole meal was $18 for 8 sticky fingers (picture shows 7 because I was quite hungry), bottomless fries, and a soft drink. This is a lunch special, so you have to order it before 4 PM.
SERVICE: The service was great but overly involved to the point that I got interrupted 2 times mid-sentence to ask if i wanted a refill on a not-empty glass. I feel weird knocking a star off for too much service, but that's my preference and when the interruptions comes during an empassioned explanation of a security protocol for work with a collegue, it can be a bummer. Glasses stay full, and I am not interrupted mid-sentence. Additionally, the bathrooms were out of hand towels at both recepticals. Again, it's not a huge faux pas, but it does make your company wonder why the sides of your pants are wet. "The hand towels were out. I swear." These two items are worth noting to me as to why I don’t give a perfect score, but the visit was still quite pleasant, and this should not deter anyone.
ATMOSPHERE: Lunch time was quite pleasant. Not too loud, not too quiet. I couldn't hear the TV despite being one of the tables next to the bar (major plus), and I wasn't distracted by other distractions despite two neighboring parties adjacent to us. I had no issues carrying a conversation at a normal volume either. The bathrooms were absurdly clean, and I watched a soap opera while using the urinal, so that was strange, but better than staring at tile, so a plus.
SUMMARY: Great place. Two very minor issues prevent me from giving a perfect score (one might say, "by technicality"), but I have no doubt they'd score perfectly in my books on the next visit.
The "Sauce Squad" staff all talk super high speed and always in a hurry... But it takes forever to get service, if even at all. Plan for plenty of time and double check your bill. Besides that... They have a great selection of sports on the TVs, no "bar games" though, but a wide variety of menu items for all ages and preferences, and of course their wide selection of beer on tap, wine and a full bar. This is an all ages environment but you don't see the little ones that much here. They have comfortable seating, with high stool/chairs booths and table seating.
Finally got to stopped in to try after seeing it on Facebook months ago. Sat at bar. waitress Miranda was awesome. Food was very delicious. Also ordered to go some sticky fingers. 6/15/24
Waited 30 minutes for nachos. Big thumbs down by R&A food critics. The nachos are not great. The chicken was good, although the cheese is melted sandwiched cheese made from oil. Would not recommend this place if you are going on a first date. More of a last resort type of establishment. Management made excuses rather than taking ownership. I give Wingers a 4 out of 10
First time here. Thought to give it a go. No super busy during.lunch on Saturday. They bring you these small baskets of popcorn. Can beat that, but don't go crazy or you won't be able to eat your food.
Everything we had was great. Food was very flavorful and messy. Wingers has a variety of options, so anyone in your party should find something. Great beer selection too.
Nelly is a great waitress. Very attentive to our needs. Friendly,.polite and just super sweet.
We unintentionally bombarded them with a VERY large party during a Boise state game and they were incredibly accommodating. The service was fantastic, friendly, and over the top when it came to helping us navigate some significant food allergies. Wingers has a GLUTEN FREE fryer so everything was prepared safe and was delicious! Food was great, service was incredible, and the atmosphere was fun and excellent for our kids. Highly recommend.
I ordered through door dash the ten large piece original chicken wings, upon biting into one, a long thin piece of metal cut open my lip. I contacted door dash, they didn't refund me the full price of the meal, and than I contacted wingers manager whom said he would call me back after he discussed with someone above him on what he should do. I was injured by metal that was inside my chicken wing and nothing was done about it. I'm disappointed and now terrified of eating anything from wingers and will be opening up a small claim against wingers for their lack of care for their customers and lack of food safety measures.
