Best location to watch a Texan game! Hotel lobby really nice, free breakfast was delicious just wish there was a toaster for the bread. The rooms definitely need updated paint. The beds were clean but hard.
To be fair, I read prior reviews and was a little taken back since I questioned my decision to book there BUT, the room was clean, bed clean and furniture Ok.. The thermostat was easy to control the temperature and hallways clean. Front desk staff nice since I checked in after 1 AM. Sure they have to work on a few smaller things, like shower head was feom 1970s and water lressure was barely existent, bath tub stopper didnt exist for a bath, and shower courtain rod is falling off that the actual courtain is slanted in the middle and cannoy be extended to courtain off the shower. Coffee was good and ckeaning crew feiendly to give me towels and coffee for another day (I stayed 2 nights). Didn't choose the breakfast. I would come here again because it is centrally located and the price offer was good.
Positive: The location suited our needs. Negative: The entire facility was in a state of disrepair. It looked like it had NOT been updated in 50 years. Our room was musty and we worried about bed bugs. The free breakfast was a total failure. Serving dishes were dirty and the food was tepid rather than hot
Got this hotel only for 2 nights and I’ll never book here again. Upon arrival everything seemed in order and great, once checked in we checked the pool it was green.. and open!! we couldn’t even get in. In our room there was a used piece of toilet paper on our TV stand and our toilet seat was splashed with poop. The next day we went to the lobby wanting to eat some breakfast and they had a rack with bread to make toast, there was a cockroach in the bread rack and we let the employee behind the counter know and all he did was grab a napkin and pick it up and throw it away and left the bread out, right in front of us!!!!Unfortunately didn’t get any pictures of any of these experiences but i did want to leave a review. By far the absolute worst experience ever. I will NEVER book here again.
The male concierge after 11p didn’t alert us the elevator was out of service. We climbed 3 flights , the hall was stuffy, humid and hot. The assigned room 84 degree . I brought a tan but the outlets at the bedside didn’t function. I called the front within 15 of my checkin. He stated he didn’t believe there was rooms available . He asked me to wait ten minutes while he check . I waited 12 and I climbed back down the stairs with my mature (senior ) and he was on his cell phone . I informed him I couldn’t stay in a room 84 degree and the thermostat would not allow any adjustment. I needed to check out he proceeded to tell me he would call maintenance. However most are aware maintenance is not available during the midnight hours. I further called booking.com I pray they can refund me $150 plus dollar for the cost of the room.
The location to the stadium for football games/events is the only reason to stay at this hotel. The water was brown, the carpet is musty and from the 60s, there are parts of the ceilings falling out. The elevator door doesn’t open all the way. The breakfast tastes very bad. I do not recommend this hotel. Other than the stadium there is little around there and it’s not really a place you can walk around.
We made our reservation through Expedia and thanks to that we got our refund really fast. Run away from this hotel if you can! …
-No AC, the lobby was hot as hell.
-Not enough staff so it take forever to check in. (The girl who was at the front desk was helpful so no complaints about her, I feel sorry for her it have to be hard dealing with a lot of angry customers).
-without moving anything we found bedbugs in the bed the staff move us to another room.
-We found bedbugs in the second room too.
-Both rooms smell bad
-The AC of the room was not working properly.
We moved to another hotel that was close to the stadium too and it was way better.
This hotel is stuck in the 1970s. Breakfast was tepid at best, and chafing dishes were dirty. We left hungry. Our room hasn't been updated since 1974,is musty, and I wore something on my feet the whole time. We think we escaped bed bugs.If we could find anywhere else we'd move.
