Best WLM Reviews

Very friendly, welcoming staff. Upon our arrival, staff member moved our room to accommodate disability, as no elevators in buildings.|Clean and comfortable rooms. |Great location, lots of things close by. |Only draw back, was no hot water in shower, just warm. There was a boiler waiting to be installed, so assume that may take care of problem.
Tepid hot tub but reasonable rooms.
Here's the bad news: instead of an hour soaking in heaven, I spent ten minutes trying to convince myself that lukewarm water was bearable. Then I shivered back into my clothes, icicles practically forming as I walked back to my room, where I enjoyed the most splendid twenty-minute shower. The hot tub sign lists a maximum temperature of forty degrees. It would be nice to also enforce a minimum temperature.
Now for the good news: friendly and prompt service, pretty good rooms (a few quirks but decent for a budget hotel), comfy and clean beds, and landscaping that takes advantage of a creek running through the property (very Pacific Northwest chic). A better than average buffet with sausage, eggs, waffles, and other options. As you can see, the hotel is next to the freeway and across from a strip mall, but it feels safe and reasonable. It's just unfortunate that management seems to be saving a few bucks by barely heating the hot tub and not replacing the noisy hot tub fan (the hot tub is in a little sun room so I assume the fan removes hot air from steaming up the windows).
This is one of the most friendly places I've ever stayed. They take such good care of you or start to finish. They have some of nicest front desk staff. They bend over backwards to make you happy. The rooms are big and nice. All of our needs were taken care of
Positive: Staff was very helpful and attentive. Bed quite comfortable and breakfast more than ample. Negative: No elevator made it difficult for me. I was attending a trade show, could not leave things in my car and had to carry everything up. Most hotels have elevators so did not ask..Had I known, I'd have asked for a ground floor room. Shower only. No bath.
The front desk staff were amazing. They were kind and helpful. The room was fairly clean. There was still hair in weird places, like the bathroom, and some random bits and bobs on the ground. My issue started with a random maintenance worker. If it had just stopped at that I probably wouldn't have such a major issue. Guy knocks on the door, notices we are in there, apologizes and says he can do this later, and leaves. Not 5 minutes later, knocks on the door and explains yet again that he needs to install a bathroom mirror. So I agree to let him do that, and it's only a 30 to 40 minute process basically right as we are settling into the room. The next morning, I go down to get breakfast. There's a sign that says you can't take your food to go. The entire reason I come to a hotel with a free continental breakfast is to get my food to eat in my room; I even go as far as bringing my own to go containers so I don't cost the hotel more or potentially lose some of their plates or flatware. I have a weaker immune system, not immune compromised, so I don't prefer to eat around other people. This policy discriminates against people who might have immune sensitivity issues, against the elderly, against people with social anxiety or PTSD who may not necessarily want to deal with other people. Then, when I asked the front desk staff to give a word to management I'm told that there's actually a hotel wide policy where they don't want people to eat in the room at all. Now, there is room service options and a refrigerator and a microwave in these rooms. And I don't recall seeing anywhere that you're not supposed to eat in the rooms. That's just bizarre. I don't want to book a hotel where you can't eat in the rooms, and you can't grab your breakfast and go back to your room to enjoy it at your leisure and in privacy. The location is all right. It's off of a busier road, but you don't hear traffic too much. Room service is just Denny's, which is right across the parking lot from the hotel. The gym / fitness room doesn't open until 9:00 a.m. so, not only can you not get breakfast when you wake up at 6:00 and take it to your room but you can't wake up and get a quick workout in either. For how much it costs a night to stay here, I feel there are hotels with better policies that are a little cleaner that have amenities that are little bit more accessible.
Clean, organized room and fairly quiet area. Breakfast was perfect, nicely laid out and tidy room. Staff are kind and always had a smile. Perfect location close to everywhere we wanted to go for shopping. Even someone like me who prefers not to use the I-5 can get everywhere by using Meridien which the hotel is right off of.
The manager on duty Jyoti was kind, helpful, and very compassionate|She’s amazing.|Great room, cozy bed, this place is close to many businesses|Very understanding staff! |And great breakfast too. I would recommend this place for anyone staying over night in Bellingham!!
Excellent staff, great beds, and clean! Don’t let the location near I-5 scare you - the windows and insulation block out sound and light. Breakfast was a bit limited (some seasons potatoes or other vegetarian option would help) but otherwise a fine stay.
