Nice experience. Easy check in very clean rooms. Loved the sheets. Everything worked! Would definitely go back again. Shower had nice spray option, easy to use and hot. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast with several options. Coffee could have been stronger.

Overall, it's a nice hotel. The staff is awesome every single time, it's clean, breakfast is good, and the pool is nice. However, their "handicap accessible" rooms are a joke. I don't use a wheelchair anymore, but having a truly accessible bathroom is essential. They took a regular room, regular bathroom (that is def not big enough to get out of a wheelchair and into the bathtub if you need help), and added ONE (1!) grab bar that is at the head of the shower and only accessible while seated or leaning over the toilet. It's insanity. The first 2 times, we got the exact same room, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. We got a different room this time, same exact thing.
Their accessibility is barely a gloss job and needs to be addressed.
Had an amazing stay and the room and premises were very clean and quiet. Loved the complete breakfast! The staff were very friendly and accommodating! Perfect location to shopping and dining. I would recommend this property.
Place was awesome!! Good breakfast, had it open and running at 4am for the dove hunters. Rooms were nice and a/c worked great as it was 114°F outside. Complimentary beer every night as well.
The rooms, and the property are so clean. This is a very nice, safe, and comfortable place to stay. They have complimentary happy hour mon-thurs from 5:30p.m. To 7:00p.m. They also have hot buffet breakfast that is very delicious with lots of choices. |Very nice hotel.????
I need to learn what is the best route or way to reserve a Government rate room. On this first trip, I was able to reserve a room by phone to front desk, but room was at non-government reimbursement rate. On day two, the manager was able to transfer me to a government rate room. The first room, I at risk of having to pay the difference. My co-workers informed me that there is a site to process government rate rooms. Learning the hard way is expensive...
Overall, it is what you would expect from a chain but is lacking. There is no single large thing that causes this 3 start review but a combination of little things. I had to go the desk multiple times each day because my key card kept failing, even though I was keeping them in seperate locations. Additionally, my travel companion and I both had trouble utilizing the common spaces because battery on the lock was dead. Multiple mornings there was no coffee left with the breakfast...by 630 am. The hotel gym looks normal but the equipment needs to be serviced, to be lubricated so doesnt sound like a bansee, or replaced, because it doesn't work. The location is convenient and walking distant to a fair amount of resteraunts, though.
I had Dental work done just across the border in Algodones Mexico. My wife and I stayed here at Wingate 3 different times, and I can honestly say all 3 times were exactly the same. Friendly staff ready to assist, clean rooms, and great breakfast spread. We'll be coming back to stay here in 6 months for my Dental cleaning in Algodones.
