The staff was very nice. The grounds were clean. However, the building have a lot of concerns. The ceiling was falling down, the walls in the room was messed up. You can smell mold in the bathroom. The furniture was old and pieced together. The room was nothing like the picture I seen before booking. And because of that I felt like I was over charged. But the staff was very nice.
Where should I even begin? I am utterly baffled as to how this establishment maintains a three-star rating—it is nothing short of deceptive marketing. In truth, this hotel scarcely deserves even a single star. Never in my life have I encountered such an egregious level of bug infestation within a lodging facility. The sheer volume of pests left me paralyzed with apprehension, hesitant to switch on the lights, touch a surface, or move beyond the very spot where I stood.
Thankfully, I am not particularly squeamish about insects; otherwise, the experience would have undoubtedly rendered me physically ill. When I raised my concerns at the front desk, I was met with an alarmingly indifferent response: "Oh, I’m sorry, we’ll put that room out of order." Excuse me? Their complete lack of shock or concern left me utterly speechless. They proceeded as though such complaints were entirely routine.
If I could offer one piece of advice, it would be this: spare yourself the misery and book a room at a modest hotel. It would certainly be preferable to pay $100 here and risking bringing home a veritable menagerie of bedbugs, roaches, and who knows what else. Absolutely appalling.
This place is very nasty and filthy. The upkeep of this property is bare minimum. My room upon checking in, had live and dead roaches. There were holes in the walls. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The wallpaper was peeling in the whole bathroom. Toilet paper roll that was empty behind the bathroom counter. I swept and mop floors in bathroom room and closet. Roach debris and dresser drawers. I alerted management staff immediately just to be moved to a similar room. The owner really needs to take a good look at this place and spend the money on fixing it up. The location is very nice. There are a lot of food, family friendly places in this area. The staff was so unbothered about these complaints I had. They were as friendly as they could be. I would never return. I would never refer this place to anyone. However, the lobby is in superb shape. What a good Front. They did have a pool that half of the sitting area was roped off due to Construction. What a safety hazard. Breakfast was decent. They did have tea, coffee, and juice options. They had waffles sausage eggs, and oatmeal for hot options. They had muffins, cereal, bagels, toast.
It appeared as if my room had water damage and repairs had not been made. The room was straighten, but not cleaned. At first glance everything looks fine, but many small things were noticeable even roaches after we settled in.
I failed to ask to see the room before I checked in and also failed to examine the bathroom before I unpacked. By the time I opened the bathroom door, the smell of the mold from the tub, the tub grout, the floor tile grout was overwhelming. The back of the bathroom door was peeled back from water damage. It was late and I didn't have the energy to repack and move. Instead, I went to Walmart, got a diffuser and some essential oils to mitigate the smell, and a bottle of hydrogen peroxide to kill the mold.||||Then I discovered that the wall lamp next to the bed had a broken switch and I had to screw the bulb in to get this reading lamp to come on. When I reached for the phone to find out the hours for the breakfast, it was not connected to anything! Moving the nightstand away from the wall to search for the cord (which had a missing connector), I discovered the dust/dirt behind the nightstand. Looked in the corner on the other side of the bed, and it was equally dirty. Also, the switch for wall lamp next to TV did not work at all, and turning the bulb did not produce light.||||This hotel needs to be closed and completely renovated before reopening; the public hall carpets have water damage; the exterior access door does not close properly (no security!); the hotel staff needs to be trained in what an acceptable room looks/smells like; the parking lot potholes need to be filled; and the dozens of boxes of a/c units need to be removed from the lobby! Not an inviting sight.
I checked into this hotel the lobby is brand new but the rooms are disgusting, they are very old the bottom of the doors are very rusty, the bathroom has black mildew around the tub which I took picture of the room is large but does not even smell clean. I went to front desk there was another couple cancelling their room bc it was not clean, so I cancelled mine also. The lady game the cancellation statement but had a horrible attitude needless to say I was glad I got out of there stayed at the Comfort in just past this hotel and it was a little more but newer hotel clean and smelling clean.. don't use this hotel.
This was the worst, filthy, disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in!! The bathroom was filthy, there is a slippery part in the middle of the shower and it only took one slip and I fel out the shower!! I had to be careful where I walked the floor was suncken in! I was in roo 229 it is a death trap! This hotel needs to be torn down!! If they continue like this they are looking at additional lawsuits!! The manger did write up an incident report. But I told the manager they do not need to rent that room to no one else!!! Her response was she does not look at the rooms everyday! This hotel charges $100.00 it need to be $40.00 I have a video of the floor it want upload!!
Warning! Do not stay here! This was unarguably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was nasty. The bathroom had pubic hard all over the floor and bathtub. There appeared to be mold growing in the corner or the bathroom. The bed was awful! The mattress was so squeaky that the slightest touch gave off a loud screeching sound. The room was set up for 2 beds but there was only one in the room leaving a large area that resembled a dance floor in the empty spot. I wonder how bad the other bed was that it was actually removed. Save your money. Stay anywhere else. Sleep in your car if you have to. I guarantee it will be better that staying here.
