I had the worst stay at a hotel of my life at this place. I was charged $109.00 for one night. I had issues with check in. The room (112) they assigned me was a pure torture. The heater rattled and was loud. The small fridge winded and popped all night. The water was Luke warm at best. The toilet seat shifted around. The shower door would not stay closed. The king size bed was so uncomfortable, and the pillows felt like sleeping on rocks. As for the rest of the place. The mini gym was dirty and smelled really bad. For a non smoking place the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. Breakfast was late and well as for taste I would give it 2 out of 5 stars. The floors was sticky and your shoes crunched as you walked. I got maybe an hour and half of sleep all night. Ohh and the free coffee was more like syrup instead of coffee. This is one place I will not be staying in again. I had to give 2 stars because of the two ladies that worked that night. What sweet hearts they were.
UPDATE: I contacted the manager about my issues. He made multiple excuses and in the end he gave back $34.05 out of $108.00. WOW!!!!!
Stayed here multiple times in the past couple weeks. Friendly staff. Requested receipt to be emailed to me and they did so promptly. Newly remodeled. Beds are very comfortable and linens are luxurious. Internet was super fast. Vast channel selection with HBO. Breakfast was great. Had premade omelets which weren’t actually too bad the first stay and second stay was biscuits and gravy, egg, French toast sticks. U
Hoping the hot tub gets back into service soon!
The hotel looks great inside and out because of the updates. I am always welcomed with a "Hello" and good conversation. The new renovation is fantastic and is almost done. Another week or two and it will be done. There are new beds, new showers (super) and great floors and oh yes, big TV's. Everyday good breakfast. All kind of shopping and restaurants with in a few minutes.
Loved this place and location but most of all the 24hour pool and hot tub(which actually worked!) Stayed two days, great price, housekeeping was friendly(hard to find these days) great stay! will stay again.
Location is nice, and convenient to local shops and restaurants. Staff was extremely nice and professional. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel was clean from the lounge area to the halls to the rooms. Pool was wonderful and hot tub was relaxing! Can't wait to stay here again on or next travels.
We have stayed here many times over the years and it has always been clean and convenient. Tonight our first stay in a year or so. Very disappointed. We were in one of the ‘newly renovated” rooms. Microwave is up extremely high and dangerous when removing hot water or food. No laundry bag in room - said they are waiting on new hangers so gave me a small trash bag. Toilet paper holder was about to fall off and my husband fixed it. One tiny bar of soap and one little bottle of shower wash provided in bathroom. FYI - Bring your own soap or gel!! No soap holder for sink and one single towel holder in bathroom. Maybe fine for one person but this was a room with two queens. Asked about bathroom vent not working - they said yes they work but not hooked up on top yet from remodel. Keycard would not work side door and when we told them they said it doesn’t always work with the cards for some reason. The worst was when we pulled back covers on the first bed and there were what appeared to be a lot of greasy looking streaks and some kind of crumb on the bottom sheet. Called the desk and told him and he brought us another sheet and said it would have been changed today and he also tells them to try to watch out for stained bedding. Very nice young man but so far very frustrating and disappointing stay.
The photos posted of the hotel are old and their renovations were a downgrade. There are no decorations on the walls, kinda feels like they ran out of money and said oh well. The hotel is noisy and the night shift didn't have the proper training to deal with it. The one older man that came in in the morning was condescending and rude. The breakfast is free so it has that going for it if you can stomach it.
We've stayed here many times in the past, the jacuzzi tub rooms being one of our favorite, unfortunately they no longer have those. Please don't expect to get the jacuzzi effect on the hot tub either because the jets don't work! This was by far one of out worst hotel stays! I will be finding a new hotel in the area for future stays! First thing was our first assigned room..205.. when I went in I noticed a puddle of water at the corner of the bed coming from the ac, so I went down to let front desk know ( the only refreshing thing about the stay, the FRONT DESK workers), he said that it was supposed to be fixed already and assigned us a new room, we get settled in and I noticed we had no wifi password so I went down and asked and I was told unfortunately they don't have WIFI right now most likely for indefinitely..okayyyy awesome to know with 2 kids we honestly should of left then but we didn't, we go to the pool and I hop in the hot tub to relax which felt great, but the jets didn't work.. cool nice to know prior, there was a man working housekeeping that was an absolute asshole! When I came inside at the side door where housekeeping is asking with him, he held the door open, and I proceeded to ask why the door the stairs is unlocked at all times even without a key card, I got no answer, I said okay great, my husband thanked him for holding the door open and we didn't get a response.. I thought I had a general right and concern on why the door to the staircases was unlocked at all times. We did a 2 night stay and when we went shopping Saturday morning and came back to the hotel or card was deactivated and we had to get a new one. I'm pretty sure someone was also smoking on the 2nd floor a few rooms down from us, if not it smelled like an incense or something.. I let the sweet gal at the front desk know that we must weren't happy at all and she was going to put a note on my file, I said please do because I plan on sending an email...I get to the truck after check out and my husband said I didn't want you to freak out on everyone in there but I killed a roach in the bathroom this morning! I deals Jesus Christ why didn't you get a picture of it and tell me so I could of said something, thankfully that was thy morning we packed up and left and made that the last visit to that hotel which really really sucks because we live the location, but it's just not worth it! Also the channels that we did get glitches so much it wasn't even worth trying, unfortunately we couldn't use the roku stick and do movie night because like I said no wifi... this was my 2 kids early Christmas present from mom and dad instead of buying a bunch of useless toys! Hopefully the one in cross lanes is nice and maybe we can stay there for their birthday trip in Feb
