Best WLM Reviews
We had a wonder stay 12.21.24 overnight to the Chinese Lantern Festival. Room was clean, all items were available as detailed upon booking through the hotels website. It was a quiet hotel and perfect for a quick trip. Breakfast had a variety from hot foods, bread items, yogurts and cereal with a selection of fruit and drinks. Upon leaving I asked the manager who was Todd as I saw several great reviews, he even commented that hiring Todd has been one of his best decisions. Todd is great, he is in charge of breakfast and was out and about communicating with the guest letting them know if we needed anything please ask! He even personally offered us some apples, oranges and bananas (best crisp sweet apples) for our trip home when he saw our little one so upset. Beds and pillows were comfortable!
I had an amazing experience during my stay, and the highlight was the exceptional service provided by Todd during breakfast. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From his warm welcome to his attention to detail, Todd truly made us feel at home. He was quick to assist with any requests and always had a smile on his face, creating a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere and even played Spanish music for us. Excellent customer service like this is rare, and it definitely sets this hotel apart. Thank you, Todd, for making our morning so memorable!
This was a great spot to stop overnight. The room was nice and close to the places we wanted to stop, and the area was nice too. No complaints about the room, everything was clean and ready when we got here. Breakfast was great, big thanks to Todd for being attentive and refreshing the space. Extra amenities were nice, especially the little gym. Looking forward to coming back next time!
Although we enjoyed our stay at Wingate, there was an issue with our bedding upon arrival. We received new bed covering, but we had to tend to the bed ourselves. Then there was plastic on the room windows that were on the back of the hotel. One of which was our room. The chairs were in need of cleaning in the room, as well as some in the dining room. I must say, Denise was the sweetest. She listened to my concern about our bedding, and wanted to have it corrected quickly. And then there's Mr. Todd!!! So much to be said about this bright beautiful soul. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast with Mr. Todd. He was the highlight of our stay. He made sure that everyone had enough to eat, and that everyone was doing great. You all should've seen the smiles of everyone that he encountered. If you stay at the Wingate, make sure you meet Mr. Todd. He is amazing!!!
I had the pleasure of meeting one of the nicest hostesses in a long time at this hotel. Todd was super friendly and greeted every guest that ate breakfast at this establishment. I do mean everyone who ate breakfast he spoke to them, wished them a good day and asked if there was anything he could get for them. You just don’t see this type of hospitality anymore. I do a lot of traveling for my job and I have meet some friendly people, but not too many will go out of their way to make your day. This is a rare find. He even bragged about his special brew of coffee. I do hope this company realizes the unique and wonderful person they have serving their guests. This is one reason I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here when traveling in this area. Thanks Todd and keep up the good work.
Had a brief overnight stay, in town for my daughters graduation. My room and common areas were very clean. Front desk personnel were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was satisfactory. A meat choice other than pork woukd have made it A1. Todd who attended the morning breakfast kept spirits high with a great sense of humor and keeping items stocked so no one lacked anything. Definitely recommend this hotel.
We have stayed here 2 weekends within the past month and we absolutely love this hotel. I would highly recommend it. Our rooms were clean and we had everything we expected and needed. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was yummy also! We all really enjoyed meeting and talking to Todd at breakfast each day! He always greeted us with a smile and such nice conversations and always made us smile! He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything at breakfast we needed! We would definitely choose this hotel in the future if we return to the area! Definitely worth the price!
During our recent stay at the hotel, we had the absolute delight of meeting Todd, the breakfast attendant. His vibrant personality and infectious sense of humor transformed our mornings into something truly special.
From the moment we walked into the breakfast area, Todd greeted us with a warm smile that instantly set a positive tone. He had an incredible ability to engage with everyone, making lighthearted jokes and creating an atmosphere that felt more like a gathering among friends than a typical hotel breakfast. His cheerful banter added a delightful spark to our mornings, and it was hard not to leave the table smiling.
Not only was Todd a fantastic entertainer, but he also excelled in his role. He was always attentive, making sure that the breakfast spread was fresh and plentiful. His genuine care for the guests was evident; he went out of his way to ensure everyone felt welcome and satisfied.
Overall, Todd's vibrant energy and exceptional service truly elevated our breakfast experience. If you find yourself at this hotel, don’t miss the chance to enjoy breakfast with Todd—his charm and wit are sure to make your stay even more memorable!
