Besides finding a container of Chinese food in the refrigerator from the last guest, and the fact we couldn't hang up our clothes because the clothes rack was coming off the wall, it was a nice quiet stay.
Beds were comfortable pillows were fluffy and the heater worked well as it was in the '30s outside.
Pretty decent prices for a nights stay. The front desk lady was helpful and kind. I did really like the new upgrades such as the furniture and bathroom mirror. I do feel that if they hired more cleaning staff or had more in-depth cleaning protocols this place would have much higher reviews. The toilet had hair and urine caked onto the hinges. Also found some questionable hair in the shower walls/drains. I read that other reviews spoke of a mildew smell in the lobby but I didn’t notice that at all. Just overall cleanliness issues in the rooms, but if that doesn’t bother you I’d recommend staying here for a cheap stay.
We stayed here on our way to Florida and on our way back. Rooms were typical hotel rooms, nothing fancy. They were clean, quiet and had comfortable beds. The attendant at night (we checked in after midnight both times) was extra accommodating. He remembered our group on the way back and changed us to connecting rooms without us even asking. Breakfast was typical, but had a cool pancake machine that the kids loved. Will always stay here on any future Florida trips.
Decent stay for the price. Location is 20mins from downtown Savannah, service was good, check-in was fast, breakfast was simple but ample. Rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet, but toilet seat was very loose and shower water temperature doesn't get super hot. Other than that, this was a good stay.
My experience was overall great. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were soft. The air conditioner was excellent. I love the fact the hygiene product was name brand (Dove). I love Dove. The breakfast could be better. The sausage seems like fake meat. The options were slim. The elevators are slow. However the smell was great. It smelled like air freshener everywhere. The staff was nice. I will stay again. Very affordable.
The good: My room was ready upon my earlier arrival and I was able to check in.
Check in went smoothly. My room was clean.
The bad: My room only had one roll of toilet paper and two washcloths. The TV had static and the picture went in and out.
There wasn’t a coffee container for the coffee machine.
The ugly: Upon entering the lobby, it smells like an old, musty, mildewed house. The elevator is raggedy sounding.
Would I book again? NOPE, the price I paid is very overpriced for this hotel, it’s definitely a two star for sure.
I recently stayed at this hotel while visiting my family for the holidays. As an active duty military member, I was looking forward to a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite being gone all day, we returned to find our room had not been cleaned at all—no new sheets, towels, or any basic housekeeping services.
When I approached the receptionist to address the issue and request new blankets and sheets, I was met with resistance and an invasion of privacy. Instead of providing the necessary items, the receptionist questioned who was coming in and out of our room, which felt highly inappropriate and intrusive. This level of service and lack of respect for guests' privacy is unacceptable. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their service standards and staffing.
Very friendly environment. Had a great stay! The front desk staff who welcomed me was super helpful and attentive to make sure that I have an excellent stay. My flight was delayed. I called and I was reassured that my reservation was still on. Highly recommended!
