Rooms had multiple issues. The sinks did not work properly. They were missing aerators so the water forced out at high pressure spraying everything.
The towel rack was broken off and left on the counter. Noticed small roaches scurrying across the floor while in the bathroom as well as mold.
Rooms also had a musky odor.
Coffee dispenser at the breakfast area on several occasions was out of coffee in the morning. They were out of sugar several times.
Housekeeping came into the room despite the sign on the door saying do not disturb.
4 people in a room and only 2 towels in the bathroom.
Desk staff was rude for the most part on several occasions.
I don’t feel they value their guests at this property in the slightest.
I’ve stayed at several hotels for business. This is by far the worst. I was locked in for a 4 day stay with no other options. Took an hour to check in with reservations. Elevator smells like an ashtray. Halls smell like a mix of body odor and feces and some crap that sprayers are constantly spraying to cover it up! I was given room 223 and walked in on people staying in there. Went back down and she gave me room 225 like it happens a lot. Room was molded and had roaches that crawl on you when you finally get to sleep. Never slept more than a few hours all week! I was exhausted for work. The last night I left all the lights on so they wouldn’t be out and it kinda worked but still no sleep! Bathroom had mold. Room itself was nasty, like it hasn’t ever been really cleaned! Hotel staff came in my room while I was gone to work and stole my pizza from the fridge. They gathered my towel and wash cloth but didn’t leave a spare. They didn’t even make the bed much less clean. Kinda felt like they were just in there looking for personal items to steal. Luckily I never leave anything in a room during the day. Night 2 I got by with my one towel left and I called the front desk from my personal phone because the room phone doesn’t work to let them know about them not leaving any. She stated that if I wanted a new set that I could walk down there and get them. Oh wait there is a plus! The water pressure was really good. Door does not shut on the room without forcing it. Side note, I will probably fail a company drug test from the pizza delivery guy pulling up high as a kite. It smelled like an acre of weed caught on fire when he opened the door so if your into that it maybe just the place for you. You will need to be high to sleep through the roaches. No coffee pot and never tried the tv or the microwave. Seriously try anywhere else and you can’t go wrong!
It was ok after we had to change rooms. Not 1 but 5 roaches while we ate dinner. Don't know if there's a difference in price with the first room which we were given a handicapped room. Which none of us are disabled. To a clean room. Breakfast was good. The lady at the front desk was very nice & very helpful.
This hotel was very disappointing. The room contained no hair dryer or hangers; only one bath towel was provided, and only 2 tissues in the box. The throw pillows were on the floor. The desk chair was broken and unsafe to sit in, and a drawer pull was hanging loose. In the breakfast room, every table and serving counter was dirty, even though there was a breakfast attendant in the back room looking at her mobile phone.||When I notified the parent company, no action was taken; I received a canned "your input helps us improve" response. The hotel itself has been unresponsive.||This hotel charges a $60 "deposit" upon checking in. A week after my stay, it has not been refunded as promised upon check-out.
I think this quaint little hotel is tucked away in a quiet location, but was just fine. It was quiet, the rooms were clean, and staff was nice. The breakfast is not my thing, but it looked like it was being enjoyed by others. It was moderately priced, as well. I would stay here again.
I travel all over for work and this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The whole lobby area and first floor hallway was under construction. They had a back door blocked open airing out the place, even after dark, making it not seem very safe. Once I got to the room it got much worse. The ceiling and walls in the room were covered with black mold and paint was pulling off the ceiling from obvious water damage, making me wonder if that was the cause for the ongoing renovations. I could hardly breathe from the mold and foul odor. The floor was dirty, and the mattress had a huge brown stain on the side. I went back to the front desk and informed the attendant. She gave no apology and did not even act surprised. Just asked me if I would like a new room. Since I was so tired from traveling all day, I offered to try one on the 3rd floor, thinking if it was water damage from a busted pipe that the top floor might not be affected. I had to take the stairs because the elevator didn't work. There were people hanging out in the stairwell that I had to step over, and when I got to the 3rd floor the whole hallway smelt awful and the room was not much better. There was not any visible mold in that room, but it was still very musty. At this point I was so congested and frustrated, I just left the building and sat in my vehicle while I checked out online and booked a new hotel. The next day I requested a refund and was denied. I provided plenty of pictures of the mold and was still denied a refund. That room was uninhabitable, and this hotel needs to be shut down until the mold is taken care of. I will never stay at any Wyndham properties again since this is how they take care of their properties and cannot even refund a customer after a terrible experience like I had.
Old rooms with lots of flaws. Worst was the shower not working. The tub was seemingly uncleaned with residual hair and a bug. The sink was also not working well and spewed water everywhere. Only one towel and washcloth provided. Shower curtain and bedding were stained. You get what you pay for I guess because it was inexpensive. It was very late so we didn't feel like complaining and trying to swap rooms, you get ready for the night assuming you can at least shower in your hotel room...
Only recommend if you have no other choice.
Dim lights in the room and horrible paint on wall and roof. Breakfast waffles were out at 8 AM but breakfast time was till 9 am. NOT EVEN CLOSER 2.5 ⭐️ hotel. It's not like what shows in the picture.
