We had an amazing stay at the Wingate. The room is very modern & clean and the beds are super comfy. The staff are really friendly & helpful. Nothing is too much! We found this to be a great location. Literally a 5 minute walk to Times Square & other major landmarks! Will definitely be coming back
We enjoyed our stay at Wingate by Wyndham Midtown Manhattan. The hotel is small but the room was perfect! The beds were very comfortable, and I loved the big shower with great water pressure. All of the staff was friendly, and there was a great, hot breakfast .We were right off 5th Avenue and just 6 minutes to walk to so many attractions! We had a view of the Statue of Liberty and it wasn't noisy like Times Square! We will definitely stay again on a return trip!
Great location. Good value for money. ||All the staff were service oriented and made us feel welcomed. ||Breakfast is more like a light snack. ||Cleaness of the room was good but could be improved but nothing of a serious concern and that’s why not worth mentioning here.||Overall we were happy with our 4 night stay there.
The hotel is the smallest one ive ever been to. The room description online is totally fake. The room is tiny, basically consisting of the bed and a tiny bar table work station and chair. The bathroom door sucks absolutely no privacy whatsoever. The elevator beeps up and down on every floor all day and night. If you're going solo this could be a decent spot but even with just your s/o its way too small. It was pretty clean overall, bathroom was modern.
Lovely people accommodating and eager to help. Little hidden place that surprised me for the better also with their concern for my safety! Thank you Amy who checked me in and supervisory team that made it a priority to quickly find and hold onto something I left in my room. Looking forward to coming back soon!
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and allowed me to checkin early for a nominal fee. The room was a little small but clean and was enough for the 2 of us. The housekeeping staff were quick to bring my daughter a shower cap to our room on both the days we stayed there. The location is great and is walking distance from many major tourist attractions. The breakfast was great too. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice hotel in NYC.
My family has stayed at this hotel on our previous NYC trips due to its convenient location midtown. We had 2 rooms booked for 4 days which is expensive but reasonable for NYC. Unfortunately, I took a bad fall within a few minutes of arriving and had to go home for medical evaluation and treatment the next day (I broke my hand). Because I had prepaid for the 2 rooms, no refund was offered, even though the rooms were available for the hotel to rebook them. I'm even a member of the hotel 'club.' This has soured my relationship with this chain for the future.
Great location, very clean, breakfast had plenty of options including hot food. The rooms are well equipped, we were 2 adults and a child in the room, and we were comfortable.
