We stayed again here after our visit a year ago and were just as pleased with the experience. The check-in process was smooth and we had a fun conversation with Brady. The room was comfortable, the bed was soft and supportive and the shower was nice. Breakfast was also good. We were not disappointed this time and will stay here again on the way home. We especially appreciate the EV chargers.
This is an outstanding hotel at a very reasonable price. The check-in staff member greeted me and thanked me for being a Wyndham Rewards member. She placed a welcome snack bag on my door before I got to the room with my luggage, and she even called my room later to be sure I received it. The full hot breakfast was also a nice amenity. The location was close to many restaurants. Outstanding service and great place to stay!!
My wife and I, touring from New Jersey, enjoyed our three night stay at this Wingate. The staff was helpful and engaging. Our room was comfortable, clean, and offered all the desired amenities. The included breakfast buffet was nice, offering the standard options, but this was the first time in our travels we encountered an automatic pancake machine! We required ice packs for my wife's knee and we were given access to their large freezer. The hotel is close to a shopping center and restaurants, and is a ten minute drive to downtown and its attractions.
12/11/24 - Updated to 5 stars because we have stayed here two more times since the first review, and it has been fabulous. No problems at all. Staff have all been FANTASTIC. No more marijuana smells. The beds and pillows continue to be amazing. The breakfast is pretty good... better than some, worse than some. It was quiet... too quiet. The air conditioner kicked on and off. We wanted the fan to run constantly, but there wasn't a setting for that, so it would also get hot, then cool off, then get hot again. Maintenance was kinda a squirrelly guy who was no help at all. Next time we will bring fans. The lamps still don't work when you turn the light switches off. Weird.
I give this place 4 stars because even though there was a colossal screw up with our rooms, they were extremely nice and easy to work with fixing it. They could do better on the breakfast, but it was still pretty decent. The beds are so comfortable. The rooms are very, very clean. Housekeeping does a fabulous job! Plugs on the lamp don't work when the light switch is turned off. The halls and elevators smell like marijuana especially on the night shift.
My wife and I decided to get away for a day, so booked a room here for the night. Good location for dining and shopping. It was a relaxing stay. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The only thing that kept me from giving a 5 star rating was the low water pressure in the shower and the water from the shower flooding the bathroom floor. It was a handicap accessible bathroom. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
This hotel checks all the boxes for a good hotel. It is modern and clean, and it serves a good breakfast. Parking can be limited at times. We were there during a weekend when at least one athletic team of teenagers stayed there, and that created some congestion and noise.
it’s a fine but old hotel. if you spend anything longer than two days here you will have to constantly go to the front desk to have them recharge your key card in order to get into your room or use the side doors. won’t be coming here again
Front desk staff upon arrival was very nice. Rooms were clean. Wish we would have known the back and side doors do not open at night which is great for security but made us walk around after dinner.
